It's a good product, and I'm satisfied with it. However, when the voltage rises above 260V, the stabilizer turns off. It turns back on only when the voltage drops to around 245V. Overall, it's a good product.

I installed the V-Guard VG 400 stabilizer for my 1.5-ton air conditioner in an area where voltage fluctuation is common, especially at night. After installing it, the AC compressor started operating normally and cooling performance improved. The stabilizer supports a 170V–270V input working range, which is suitable for most homes with moderate voltage fluctuation. It uses advanced IC-based circuitry to regulate voltage and provide a stable output for sensitive components like the AC compressor and PCB. Another useful feature is the Intelligent Time Delay System (ITDS), which delays the compressor restart after a power cut. This protects the compressor from damage caused by sudden power restoration. It will cutoff the power if the voltage fluctuate and I used it with my 1.5 ton AC and recently in mid night it cutoff the power and ac turns off and it will not start again automatically most of the times I have to restart it manually in midnight and then in 20 seconds it cut off again very much frustrating in the night. I suggest buy a stabilizer from a local vendor near you as he can give you a good product that works fine in your locality ( I have a 7 years old stabilizer bought from local vendor and of same price range no issues so far). Very disappointed with such product.

This doesn't take load of split AC. Light gets on but AC is not on. This model was suggested by Amazon while purchasing. Pl repace with higher model

The stabilizer works well and performs as expected under normal conditions. However, in my area, the voltage occasionally goes up to around 265V. The stabilizer cuts off at about 260V and doesn't restore power until the voltage drops to around 245V. After contacting customer support, they explained that this behavior is normal due to the built-in 10V safety margin (hysteresis). Since my local voltage frequently reaches that range, I had to replace it with a different model. Overall, it's a good product, but make sure its operating range is suitable for the voltage conditions in your area.

Repurchased this for my AC after many years, very durable and good quality.

I purchased it second time as i am satisfied with the performance of the first one.
