I use these bags for sourdough sandwich bread and they are awesome! Love the size, thickness and especially love the ties, they are exceptional and no weird smell, either! I have another size of bags (a different brand) which are pretty great but the ties are horrible! I wish I could just buy the ties from Morepack Direct!

These are of nice quality. They hold two loaves of homemade bread (regular bread pan size) in one bag, placed parallel to the bottom seam. They come with twist ties. Some of my smaller platters fit in them which is nice for storing and transporting. They sure beat trying to keep plastic wrap or aluminum foil attached. I’ve even used them for shoes when traveling, holding wet bathing suits, etc… I buy the smaller size, too, for single loaves of bread and smaller items needing corralled .

These are definitely SMALL Don't let the 14 fool you....I knew it said 3x5 but it didn't really register with me that this size will still be a trifle small even for a small loaf of homebred bread. Possibly will be nice for a quick bread loaf if it's not risen much above the pan top. They are fairly sturdy and do come with twist ties. The really nice part is they are packaged in their own zipper lock storage bag. I'm giving it a 4/5 because no matter how good it might be, they're not iron-clad nor "Perfect", therefore there's always room for improvement. But I kept them because muffins, or biscuits or even cookies will fit nicely in them for storage or presentation to someone else.

big enough for all the different size loaves I make. good price and sufficient ties to seal all the bags.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like these bags much better than I have purchased at the grocery store. They are heavy enough that they don’t rip on me and are a extra large size so I don’t have any problems with large loaf of bread.
