A Great practice book for learning japanese
This is a great workbook for those individuals learning Japanese. I was more than a little surprised with how large the book is, than what I was expected it to be. The book's size is almost comparable to some standard educational textbooks, although not as thick, which is very nice. Also the flash cards are a welcome addition. I grabbed this book along with the other two to aid in my practice of the Japanese language learning endeavor. The paperback versions of the book(s) are at a decent price of under $10 per book, which is a great deal and even though I photocopy sections to work on personally, the book is inexpensive enough that if you want to write in it and/or need to reorder another copy it won't hurt your wallet to do so. I would give fair warning that there is a couple of wrong definitions in the book, so be aware. Other than that, it's worth getting and I definitely recommend it.

Amazing with a simple flaw
The book is an amazing resource, and I'm very pleased with it. My only complain would be that that the arrangement of the Kanji doesn't make all that sense to me.There are kanjis that contain the radicals of another Kanji, And so you would expect that the simple one comes before the more advanced one, but this is not the case here for some reason.Overall it's a great resource and I'm ready to buy the JLPT N4 version they have.

Study tool that gets 学 (study) wrong.
As I am beginning to familiarize myself with kanji I believe this book to be an acceptable tool for the price. The paper doesn't take ink as well as I'd hoped but it doesn't flake with it so I'm not upset about this.I like how stroke order is displayed, and while I haven't double checked every last one I do believe the stroke orders could be accurate.Page 19 and page 45 have the wrong English definitions. On 19 the character is 八 which is the character for eight. On 45 the character is 学 and this is the character for study, learning, science. Page 103 has the character for fish, 魚, listed as tall, high, expensive. This page also transfered the ononyomi, kunyomi, and compounds from the other character so these are all incorrect as well.If it weren't for these mistakes I'd give it a 5.

Good book
The media could not be loaded. I love the books from this series as they are a great learning tool. However it's the first time my book came alittle damaged and dirty to me that's why the 4 stars. But over all if you're starting these books are amazing, it is dissected in different parts. One to practice writting, then the vocabulary section and the flash cards. At the back you can also make your own flash card and you have parts at the back where you can write aswell. Very convenient.

NO EXPLANATION OR OBJECTIVE OF THE BOOK
The book is basically just Kanji with stroke order, brief Konyomi and Onyomi definitions. There are much better kanji books. and online alternatives too. I found the book leaving me wondering what am I suppose to be doing here. I don't recommend it.
