The sizing is really weird, I read a fewOf the reviews and overall it sounded like they fit on the smaller side and should size up. I am normally a size 10/12 so I got size large but it was huge. So I sent it back and got medium. It’s still big and doesn’t really have the corset effect.The straps and for a wider shoulder which means they kind of rub underneath my arms which is really sore especially if doing exercise.Over all I’m kind of disappointed

I received a size medium, and I'm a 10-12, and it was too big. It measures 17 inches from pit to pit and although its adjustable, it just isn't tight enough for me to feel full benefit.It does feel thick, and i can fully understand how the concept works if the garment was right enough.It has a slightly fitted edge to it, so it does go in at the waist, but not enough for me. I'd say it was better suited to the apple shape rather than a pear shape with a small waist.It does look nice on, and would have many benefits, including fancy dress .The trick is to get the right size in the first place !Size 10 - small.Size 12 - mediumSize 14- largeSize 16 - xl.Hope this helps.

Usually a 16-18 this fitted perfectly, it was comfortable without being too tight. It is designed to make you sweat more during exercise and increase calories burned. Not badly priced at £13.99 but does it really work?It has a corset type opening which is adjustable when needed. You simply slide between the back and the panel, this sits on you tummy and then you close up the hooks and loops.It could be worn easily under clothes without it even being noticed which is a good thing if a little self conscious about it. It did hold me in better which I think is part of the design which I won’t complain about.The design has been well thought out to sit under the bra area but I did find when worn for any prolonged time it was uncomfortable around the arm leaving red marks but they quickly disappeared.The real struggle and effort came when tying to work out how to remove it. Not being a contortionist I found this extremely difficult and more of a workout than the exercise I had just completed. Short of just getting a pair of scissors as I was getting so frustrated I finally managed to manoeuvre it off.I have tried other sauna suits before and I felt this didn’t really get up the heat or sweat as much as they had. This just felt comfortable like an extra layer, the other suit as soon as I put it on I could feel my temperature had been raised.The design of the suit being made from neoprene which is not a breathable fabric and when worn during a workout, extra heat will be generated around the body’s midsection causing you to sweat more. As the body heats up, it must work harder in an attempt to bring the temperature back down to a normal level, this results in extra calories being burned, hence the supposed weight loss. It is debatable whether this is purely water which will be replaced as soon as you hydrate again.It is worth noting that waist trimmers are not designed to be worn for extended periods and should be removed after exercising as they compress the body’s internal organs, and this could lead to health problems in the long term. When wearing a waist trimmer, it is important to build up the length of time that you wear it and how long you exercise for.Overall it has some merits but I haven’t seen any significant weight loss or difference as yet but I will update if this changes.

Now whether this helps you loose weight as in fat is debatable but it does make you sweat but you are only loosing water as opposed to fat. However it does slim you down and give the impression of weight loss due to it's compression. I'm a size 18 and this was the perfect size for me and I wanted to review this item for the upper back support as well as across the shoulders. When I first started doing exercise 2 yrs ago, I managed to irritate or pull a couple of muscles around both shoulders, down either side of the spine and where the chest band of where my sports bra sat which was just utterly painful. Thankfully my core is a lot stronger now but I still occasionally get a niggle in that area and have hunted for a while to find something that supports during exercise. So this has been perfect for that and to use when exercising at home. I'm not sure I would wear to classes once the fitness centres re-open as it's quite thick and the style of fitness top I use, it would show and be very obvious. Think of a wetsuit and your not far wrong fabric wise. I like the idea you can make it tighter but I suggest you fasten from the bottom up and not the other way around. The reason for 3 stars is I wish it was a little longer in the torso to support my lower back more ( this is where my muscles are still really weak)

I requested a size larger than I thought I needed and it's a good job I did as this corset is on the small side, I also thought it was too short. The hook and eye fastener looks nice but it's a faff to do up when you have it on. Luckily I managed to get it off without having to unfasten it so at least I won't have to mess about fastening these hooks if I want to wear it for work and I'm in a rush in the morning. I have a few different styles of sauna suit type vests and this one is the finest fabric, so I do like that it doesn't add bulk, you don't need that when you're not stick thin ;-). Once I'd wriggled into it and fiddled about with the hook and eyes I did find it comfortable, but like I mentioned earlier, I would have preferred it had a good 2 inches on the length as I don't feel it covers the worse bit of my belly and wonder how effective it will be at fat burning if it's not actually covering the fat I want to burn the most. I'm 5'5", so only average really, but it would probably be a better length on shorter women.
