I bought this to braze small items, rather than use my big clumsy propane set-up. It feels very well made. I don't think it is expensive for the quality. In use I simply open up the gas valve, then pull the trigger. It fires up instantly, and also shuts off as soon as the trigger is released. No need for a separate lighter, and it doesn't waste gas. The flame is good and hot, and good for precise work. I have also used it to free stuck bicycle cranks etc. It is a smashing piece of kit, I recommend it.

Excellent value, does what I need

I’m old enough to remember when you had to use those pump up torches, which could be quite dangerous but the element of fear kept you on your toes, I liked that fear, it made me feel alive. This type offers the same feeling of fear but without the same level of danger ! It roars like a lion, it gets proper hot, it does what I bought it for and all the while there at the back of my mind is the fear that it may explode 🤔 I don’t think it will but I worry. Anyway, does it do its intended job ! Yes it does and rather efficiently if truth be told. In fact it does a number of jobs like lighting the log burner and the BBQ, that stubborn nut on the car that needs just a bit of heat and of course that odd bit of plumbing work that isn’t plastic pipe. Not cheap but if it keeps working as is then not an expensive purchase either.

I bought this gas torch 2 years ago and it was working absolutely brilliantly,... until it didn't. At the touch of the ignite button you have a very hot flame that can be used for many purposes. In my case, I use it as a beekeeper, cleaning tools and hives. I have occasionally uses it as a blow torch for metal working and it throws out so much heat that that too is a doddle. Unfortunately, it developed a fault after nearly 2 years. I was so take by the product that I was going to buy an exact same replacement one. Before doing so, I thought I'd just run it by the vendor. To my surprise and delight they just sent me a replacement on, without quibbles. Excellent product with excellent customer service

Excellent torch love the easy light, saves gas by being able to turn off and fire up between small jobs. It’s generates so much heat very quickly great for silver Soldering. Loads of Heating Power 👍😊 Well worth buying, the gas I save goes along way to making this torch pay for its self 10 times over . Excellent value kit .
