I'm writing this to help other people make an informed decision before they purchase this product. Returning something that has been vacuum sealed can be a challenge!For those quickly skimming, here's my experience:Pros:- No weird smells- Clean- Felt soft- Doesn't make you sleep hot- Loved the ties on the cornersCons:- Not 3" thick- Filling not evenly distributed- Was a couple inches too short for my king mattressI am returning this mattress topper. Here is why for me personally. If you are looking for a 1 1/2" - 2" feather topper, you will probably love this mattress topper. If it had been a 3" overstuffed topper like they advertised, I would have loved this topper. I know the pictures make it look like it's overstuffed, but it's NOT. Please don't be deceived by the pictures. After researching, I've learned I need to look for a 5" topper to get the cloud like fluffy sink in feeling that I was hoping for with this topper.And yes, I ran this through my dryer on low for 30 minutes. Then I tried again later on low for 50 minutes with a slightly damp rag. It did fluff up, but not like it was advertised.I hope this helps!

This mattress topper feels like I am floating through Heaven on a beautiful, fluffy little cloud. I had a horrible, old mattress that was far too firm but now?? I can barely get out of bed.I'm being serious. I can't get out of bed. I've grown fat, slovenly, and my mind is constantly preoccupied with this glorious mattress topper. Just unboxed this today and boy does it live up to what it promises. Thick and high quality. I’ve wanted a bed like this for years and this product delivers. Buy it, you won’t regret it! Fluff in the dryer with a wet washcloth for 15 minutes when you first get it..it will fluff it even more! Enjoy.

It took me several days to research the perfect topper for my new mattress. The 3-inch thick cover from The Duck & Goose Co. seemed like it was going to be the right purchase. Great reviews and the informational videos were a sure sell. It arrived today (July 30, 2020), the same day my new queen mattress was delivered. I loved how it was packaged. The unit itself was vacuumed sealed and placed inside a large, zippered plastic bag. A small tag with care instructions was tied to the bag handles. I was eager to put the topper on the new bedding. Upon removing the topper from the vacuumed sealed bag, I noticed a very pleasant scent, almost like fresh coconuts. The topper did not appear condensed or deflated by any means and I wanted to give it some “breathe” time on my mattress. It was quite heavy and the feel was quite luxurious, which to me, meant the topper was living up to its reputation. However, once I spread it out on the mattress and began to secure it with the elasticize cords in each corner, I noticed a few stray threads in the bottom perimeter of the topper. I went to pluck them and realized that they were still attached and any further pulling would tear the seam. This made me inspec the unit further and I noticed several more loose threads. Additionally, I observed some of the filling poking out in the center of a few squares where the seams were not secure. I opted to not wash the topper prior to using it since I took the claim that it is sterilized upon arrival seriously. I also did not decide to fluff it in the dryer on a low setting before use. I am disappointed by the fact that there are these flaws in the material which has the potential to decrease the product’s performance and construction over time. If these loose threads and evidence of the filling coming out weren’t so noticeable (or exist at all), a higher rating would be in order.

I had bought a memory foam mattress and it was too hard for my arthritis, so I decided to try a mattress topper. This is b6 far the greatest matress topper I have purchased and the price was even better! The difference it made in the comfort is astounding. When they say it is hotel quality, it is upper hotel quality. Thank you for a great product, for the price I can afford!

I have been suffering on my Tuft and Needle bed for years. I'd wake up with some sort of ache or pain and most times feeling as though I was just not getting a good night's sleep. It's a great bed but too firm for me. I didn't know that I was in need of a pillow top bed until I slept at the Huntley hotel in Santa Monica and slept like a rock and woke up completely refreshed in the morning.This topper has turned my bed into a bed I look forward to sleeping in. The straps hold everything in place perfectly and they will fit around a deep mattress. I did take the advice of the company and tossed it in the dryer to fluff it up prior to putting it on my bed. I find it to be an excellent value for the money. I love it!

I wanted to add some plushness to our bed and this did not disappoint. Compared to others I've seen, the price was great. The only downside is that it's sooooo hard to get out of bed in the morning.

After trying out a foam topper and waking up sinking and sweating, I ordered this to go on my memory foam mattress. Just what I needed for my pressure points. Makes it feel like a pillow top mattress and it was so comfy. Absolutely did not want to get out bed. Great price! Did throw it in the dryer to fluff up and it’s amazing.

When I read the review that this mattress topper would make a firm bed so soft that you wouldn’t wanna get out of bed I ordered it right away sadly it didn’t quite live up to its expectations. While it helped make my firm bed a bit softer it was a bit disappointing.

If you’re humming and hawing about whether or not to buy this, just do it, well worth the cost. I have back pain and get sore when I sleep on just my mattress, this pad fixes that.

I thought it would be thicker and more plump.i have to keep shaking it every day,wish their were more feathers.

Item is not 3 inchs nor made of a down alternative. It is a Poly filled 1" cover. When messaged to ask if it was the wrong item the company did not respond. i tried multiple times and still no response. Amazon themselves ended up helping me get a refund
