Make sure to shake it.
It works well for patches and monochrome pictures on black fabric. It has better coverage than most other paint markers I have tried. The only thing is be sure to shake well and use press down the tip repeatedly before any use or else it will be dry.

Off White Color—These Are Paint Markers
The only reason I knocked a couple stars off these is because they are basically paint. Fabric markers are supposed to be like markers. They are off white color and not bright white.

Better than expected for labeling dark items
This item was great. I needed to mark dark clothing, as well as more synthetic items like garment bags and plastic sunglasses. While I did have to prime the tip a bit longer than expected, the color applied crisp and bright. The tip was fine enough to legibly label a 9 letter name on the stem of sunglasses.

Arrived totally dried out
I had never tried any fabric markers before, so I thought this was just an inkless « marker » that wasn’t working bc I was using it to change the color of ink that was already printed on the shirt. Didn’t work at all. Then I decided to test it on the inside of a shirt and still nothing. This time my partner was with me and was like «you need to shake it first… it’s totally dried out ». We both shook it pretty hard and absolutely no difference was made. I took out the felt part and reversed it and only the back 2/3 of it has ink at all. It works just fine with the tip reversed, but it absolutely doesn’t look like that’s the end that was made to be used. Plus, the whole thing is very short. And when I shake it, it sounds like there’s no ink in there… just a ball rolling around. There doesn’t appear to be any way to open the other end of the marker to confirm that or not.Edit: changing from 2 to 1 star because the marker ran out of ink after two words. The barrel of it was absolutely empty, as no amount of shaking or changing the tip around gave it more ink. Didn’t even get to do a second thickening stroke on these letters. Trash.Update #2: Found the second pen. It had absolutely no ink.

Great Markers
As I used the pens, I was able to all that I needed with them. Ihad black spots from our washer and dryer on them, and the markers worked fine.
