Perfect size & very handy
Perfect sized 'petty'/prep/utility knife with good knuckle clearance and a very sharp edge - very happy with it

The most versatile knife in the kitchen.
Amazing quality with superb versatility in the kitchen. Thin blade makes cutting through dense meat and veggies super easy and the steel offers great edge retention without being too difficult to sharpen on any household sharpening stone. The only drawback is the edges around the spine and base of the blade are not radiused at all, which causes some discomfort when cutting in a pinch grip. I just knocked the corners down with some 800 grit sand paper, which only took a few minutes.

Unique profile that is a pleasure to use
This is a nice little knife. Its unique shape helps keep knuckles off the board when rocking or chopping. It is quite stout which helps it cruise through things like onions and carrots quickly but its small handle and bolsterless design help keep it nimble while working with the tip or in the hand. The spine is thicker at the base than many knives of this size which gives it a very solid feeling while not feeling wedge like through hard ingredients. It is definitely not laser like as many Japanese pettys are, it feels more like a workhorse. I love my petty knives, but I’m not afraid to beat this one up which is what I bought it for. Here it is next to a 150mm Misono petty and a Victorinox 6” chef.
