First attempt at glazing a cookie but once I get the hang of it, they’ll be cute.

I guess these are alright if you aren't trying to be very specific with your decorating. They are somewhat flimsy when trying to pull from the cookie dough and although the lines are a nice guideline for someone not used to decorating, they create more of a hassle when decorating and use more icing than I wanted.All in all, these are just okay... not great, but not bad. I gave them away to someone who doesn't bake a lot but wanted free cookie cutters! I'll go buy some better ones to do more professional looking cookies.

I chose these cookie cutters because reviews on the metal cookie cutters said they were being shipped in bags rather than boxes and arriving terribly bent. These arrived a day earlier than projected and in good shape. Be aware that these cookie cutters will imprint the face and ears onto the cookie, which is a great help when decorating, but it proved difficult to remove the cookie dough from the cutter. Many of my dough shapes broke nearly in two while trying to extract them from the cutter. I pressed them back together carefully and prayed they would mesh together well during baking and not break during decorating. I am pleased to say that they baked well and held up well during decorating and handling. I do not give full credit for this to the cutters, though. As I said I did pray for my cookies, and I do believe the good Lord answered my prayer. I will use these again, most likely with prayer again, too. ;) Keep a toothpick or scribe tool handy when washing the cookie cutters, as the small holes and crevices did retain dough and were hard to clean without the aid of something to push out the dough. Overall, pleased with my purchase and so thankful Amazon had these available.
