My hubby uses them and has bought a back up for when it finally goes out because the refurbished was about the same price as new batteries for them. Son is hard on headphones, but these outlast anything else we have gotten him and his first pair lasted a full year before finally starting to cut out (entirely his fault) so I got him a refurbished pair. Too heavy for me, but great for them.

The left side of the headphones stop working after 4 months and sometimes I have to tap the right side to listen the audio.

My son used it for gaming and sound excellent. Noise cancellation was perfect also, thanks.

Well, they held up for about 5 months. I know it is a roll of the dice with refurbished products but I really hoped for more. Very little use, like 10 hours per month, and the audio is popping, volume is all over the place, and the mic may or may not activate when opened. They were nice for about 2 months and I've had the remaining 3 with them slowly dying.

Poorly designed - Logitech engineers need to step up their game. As an engineer, I popped open the headset since I could not return it. Poorly engineered design made it almost a certainty that the poorly secured wires in the microphone arm would break from natural open/closing...that's what happened here. Logitech should be ashamed of approving such a poor design!Do not purchase...other parts are design with the lack of expertise and singular focus on cost cutting. You are purchasing a disaster! Other competitors have better designed headsets and better internal components. Beware!

Ok. I've had 4 of these headphones with #4 being the only one that still fully works. They've all lasted between a year and a year and a half. Either a mechanical component breaks (the joint that combines the ear piece to the strap broke on one) or they start losing their ability to run consistently. What I mean by that is, they start losing the richness of the sound and becomes tinny and sounds as if coming from a long tunnel. The sound would remain like that until I bang the ear pieces with my hand a few times until the sound quality returned.It's sad, really, that the headphones I've found that I like the most turned out to be 1-year headphones! No, I have not gotten the extended warranty. All 4 of these sets were purchased with my own money. The most recent pair (the black pair without the tape) is essentially there as a backup as the previous set (the white one) still works...most of the time (sometimes you have to knock the hell outta it to get it to come back from the tunnel).Overall, I've been happy with Logitech headphones. What keeps me as a customer is the comfortability of these headphones. Their most recent headphones are, from what I hear, more durable and just as comfortable so it looks like I'll be getting one of those next when these new ones die in a year or so.Overall: These are comfortable, they sound reasonably good for a non-audiophile, and they have good features. If you're looking for durability over price/comfort/options, these aren't for you. If you're looking for something that's going to be comfortable for long game sessions and has reasonable comfort over durability, these are perfect.

Constant static noise on left earphone, somewhat fixable by giving it a few firm slap with your hand. The noise level of the static will go down considerably but will not go away completely. I'm getting it replaced and if the second set is the same as this, I will file a complaint with Amazon directly.
