Gammo magnum gen 1
After two years of use and abuse this thing is a beast. The newer gen 3 s are fine, not much difference in power or feel than the original. With the right ammo they can break the sound barrier creating a sound compared to a rim fire .22 lr. This may be a positive or negative depending on your desired use. The 10 round pellet clip is very useful. Makes single load break barrel shooting seem like a Hassel. I recommend ordering extra clips for loading up shots ahead of time and also, if you happen to lose your clip, you can't easily fire the air rifle. So extra ahead of time highly advised. Power is great. I hit a one liter sprite bottle at a little over a hundred yards, checked with range finder. Took a dozen tries, but I got it. The scope is very good at this price point. I upgraded mine with another one I already had, but the gamo scope is great. One more advantage of the older model gammo magnum is that it has iron sights or open sights that you can use with or without the scope. New ones don't have them or a place to mount them. Just saying. Sometimes the original is better than the upgrades. This item very highly recommended. The .177 is the one I shoot and prefer. It's a faster shot, cheaper ammo, and comparably similar in damage on impact. The 22 version is awesome, a slower shot, but plenty of power. I just prefer the faster flying ammo.

Game Air Rifle
Item is sold as advertised. Shipping was timely. Packaging could have been better. Outer packing box was slightly damaged. Product itself is phenomenal! Will recommend to my friends that Broadway Knives sells as advertised. Customer support from Broadway Knives is optimum by addressing all my concerns. Broadway Knives is a company worth buying from.

Very accurate
This is my 2nd Gamo air rifle. Have only had it a few weeks. Scope so far has worked great. Sighted in at 30 yds in a 1/2 hour. 1 inch, 5 shot groups. Impressive considering I am far from an expert with firearms. Have hunted for more years than I want to admit. Gun does have quite a loud Crack to it when fired. Using 177 H & N 7.52 gr. Pellets it's crazy fast. Will probably try a heavier grain to slow it down below the speed of sound... lol to reduce the loud Crack.Worked the trigger as low a pound pull as it would safely do. Super smooth trigger pull. The 10 round magazine is really sweet. The break barrel pull is a tad harder than my other but with a little technique manageable.. for an old guy. lol Would recommend this air rifle. Am very pleased so far with the quality and accuracy. The squirrels stealing my deer corn and Birdseed, not so happy.

What an arm workout!!!
I've had this rifle now for about a week and still breaking the barrel in. So far I have not regrets getting this rifle except probably that this does not give you and easy life when cocking. It was surely a work out and I ended up with a bit of a sore in my arms. But that did not stop me from shooting it in my back yard except when it rains.True enough just like many of you had said, this rifle is really accurate. After I have zeroed the scope, I was able to get a very tight grouping and lees than an inch at 20 yards. A was able to hit bottle crowns which I had faced down on a piece of log. This was a bit louder than my daisy but not really loud that I cannot use in my back yard. If this gun is not that heavy to load i would have probably shot it all day.So far that two complaints or should I say cons for me are;1. not easy to cock and 2. louder than usual.Other than that it's very accurate and precise. Just like it was mentioned a " straight shooter". I will definitely enjoy this rifle. By the way anybody had a good tip and cleaning this rifle please let me know.Have fun and stay safe and be aware of your surroundings when you shoot.Just an update:One tip that I found especially if you are shooting in your back yard and you have neighbors that are fairly close to your property. Don't load light weight pellets. These tends to pushed well beyond the sound barrier and they make quite a bit of a louder noise which could end up your neighbors mistakenly assume that your lighting some fire crackers. I tried using 7.4 grain pellets at they do produce that sonic boom. Using a heavier pellet avoids this.

great air gun, but scope cannot hold accuracy
This Gamo air rifle is just awesome. However the scope that Gamo provides (BSA brand), would not hold zero (accuracy). Here is how I know the scope is the problem. First, I shot three shots it in a vice type shooting rest at a short distance of 40 feet. I used the very same pellets from the same lot/batch/tin. Once I set the scope to the exact center of the target and sent the first shot, I then attempted to "zero in" adjusting the scope to the first three shots. (this is the most common and acceptable practice to zero in a scope to the rifle). What I noticed is that after the very first shot, and the second and the third, the reticle was moving from the centered target. This means the reticle was moving after each shot. The first shot was about 2 inches away from center, and the second was about 1 inch in a another direction, and the third was off by about 3 inches in another direction. So I realized either the scope was broken, or the rail mounts and rings might not be tight. So I tightened everything up and tried again. Same thing...would not hold zero. Then I removed the scope completely a simplified above barrel bore sighting method. In that process, I was able to maintain a very tight group of shots. This proved to me that the scope was bad internally. I contacted Amazon customer support (chat) and they refunded the entire purchase of the air rifle. I was very happy with Amazon proving once again they have the absolute best customer support. I did not have to prove anything or send warrant info..or take pictures, or take a blood test...LOL..nope, they asked me if I preferred a credit to my account or a direct refund to my card. And it was processed in no more than 10 minutes. I received a notification from my credit cards and the total amount was returned to me. Sad the scope is crappy, but very happy Amazon shows world class customer support. God Bless America
