Most useful thing ever!
Think of what you would use cable tie for & then imagine not needing a knife to release!!Dog broke catch on muzzle....now can still use it without having to buy new one ( not vicious, just eats bits of car, if given a chance!)

Strong but too hard to open
As far as holding things together these are very strong; easy to thread and to tighten up. Unfortunately they are not well designed for opening. Why? It's easy to see, but tricky to explain. Basically the little lever is at 90 degrees to the clip part through which the end of the tie passes when doing it up. To loosen it the lever has to push a bit back (to about 70 degrees), thus lifting the little tooth on the end of the lever out of the grooves on the tie. Crucially, the clip has to KEEP STILL when this happens so the angle of the lever can change and the tooth can rise. But this DOESN'T HAPPEN - when you push the lever it tips the whole lot backwards so the angle doesn't change - the tooth doesn't lift and the clips stays done up.To open it you usually have to force a finger or thumb inside the band/behind the clip to support it and apply countering pressure while the lever is pinched inwards. SO if the clip is done up tightly you can't easily get your finger inside the loop. This is really irritating as it means you simply can't undo it with just one hand.Maybe something lighter would be better, or perhaps a different release mechanism. Whatever - just don't expect these to come undone easily.
