I used to buy full size photo albums and put my recipes in them so they were covered with a thin plastic film. Unfortunately current photo albums have several little pockets per page so are useless for A4 sized recipes. This book is a compromise as the recipes will become food stained over time. I bought one book for vegetarian recipes and another for fish recipes and have put recipes for biscuits and cakes at the back, making everything easier to find.These books look nice and would be a lovely present for a friend.

Disappoined wasnt hard back and just plain pages but still a nice journal.
