A truly beautiful evergreen twining climber introduced in species form from China in 1844 by Robert Fortune. Also occurs naturally in Korea and Japan. Very attractive dense green leaves and an abundance of creamy yellow and white Jasmine like, highly fragrant, flowers in summer and early autumn. This variety is an RHS Award of Garden Merit winner and more compact and less vigorous than T. jaminoides, (also available in our shop) however it is also a little hardier and has a different fragrance. Can be used in a mixed planting or as a stand alone specimen in the garden or can easily be grown in a pot. Wherever you plant it, it will need something to grow up! When growing in a pot or other container. Use a good quality John Innes compost as this plant will be there a long time and peaty types of compost eventually degrade and become too packed and choke the roots. Ensure you feed regularly as a hungry plant is a poor performer. We recommend Osmoscote pro 12-14 month applied in the late spring. One application gives all the nutrients the plant requires for the whole year. John Innes is a soils based compost. Ensure the location protects this plant from harsh winds which it cannot tolerate.

Great little plant for the money
Well packaged, healthy plant, and good value for money, if you want something bigger then be prepared to spend a lot more. If you don't mind waiting then I recommend you to give this a go.

absolutely disappointed in them a waste of money, I
Over priced in my opinion. I was expecting larger plants for the money, these two plants cost over £24. I will be sending them back.
