Good And Easy To Use
I give this product 5 stars because it is very good for what I use it for. I prefer real cork for neck corks, but I carry this in my sax cases for emergency repairs, and it is perfect for that. There are a lo of cork bumper and pads on a sax that can fall off. It takes a little practice, and a lot of sanding (it doesn't sand as well as natural cork) for neck cork use but it does work and in a pinch can be a life (or gig) saver.

Pretty awesome in a pinch,but I like real cork
Does the job and is super easy, but I prefer real cork. This stuff doesn't really soak up any grease and feels weird. But it's very easy to do. The glue sticks well if it's a clean surface.

Good Quick DIY fix
This is a good quick DIY fix, BUT...As a horn repair man, nothing beats the ability to make something custom. It's cool that these come beveled already, but what good is it? In most circumstances you'll wind up having to cut the piece off and bevel it yourself. The adhesive that's already on it is a wonderful idea, but it doesn't seem as good as the standard contact cement.With some tweaking, a horn player could have these already precut and placed in their case in case of any neck emergencies. On the adheasive score alone I wouldn't trust these to stay on as long as a regular repair would.All in all a good idea and a decent product.

Sax Repair
Like this product. I have been repairing alto sax neck corks for my teacher. It is more expensive than regular cork but reduces the repair time. My last shipment from Amazon the pads were not delivered. Replacement time was amazingly fast.

Worked like a charm
Got this for my son's sax. Used this along with some contact cement so I can't speak to the use of only the adhesion that comes with the cork, but he's going on three months now with no problems. Remember to cut a slight bevel where the two sides meet up to prevent bunching.
