Hangman5-Inch Hangman Frame Hanger- Aluminum (ALH-5D-2)

Recommended. I realize now I needed only one so I should have gotten the single pack.My screws went into drywall only and met some resistance so they seem secure as other good drywall screws. The frame is level so I'm happy with the hanger. I like being able to slide the frame side-to-side to get it centered/positioned how I want.Two suggestions for maybe a more expensive "deluxe" version of this hanger (my minor gripes about this hanger):The mid-portion of the bracket should be 1/4"-1/2" taller so the screws can be lower on the frame. The problem is the screw holes line up with the bottom edge of the frame so the frame rests on the screws. Without the screws in the way, the frame could be more flush against the wall. It is only a slight difference though - the width of the screw head at 1.5/16" (not quite 1/8") but more flush would look better.The frame just lifts off the hanger which is fine but if in a high traffic area (or near kids), it would be nice to have a channel locking mechanism so if the frame gets bumped it does not come off the hanger. An example would be a lower tongue coming down from the upper tongue (i.e., the frame hanger portion looking like this from the side |--- as opposed to the way it is now like this |___ ). With a channel lock, if the frame is lifted all the way up it won't come off because the lower tongue would hold it in place. The frame would only come off if held at the right height and pulled straight forward where neither tongue is touching the frame. Or, maybe some angled mechanism could work that only allows the frame to go on and come off when the frame is raised at an angle to the wall.

Worked great, first time I used these hangers they were used at the new home we purchased for heavy pictures over the stair case. Seemed unique now they are all I use. They are easy to level (comes with) and minimal chance of failure if secured properly

I have a set of Nielsen Bainbridge gallery frames that I use to display my photography. I swap the photos out frequently. Rather than try to hang a wire over a nail, then level each frame each time, these hangers screw into the wall once and are always level. Just lift the frame off and put it back on.

Was so happy to have found these for my metal framed maps that I wanted to hang as a close grouping. Much more stable than hanging from the wires. Totally solved a problem.

I like the product because it is designed to offer hanging of aluminium frames flush with the wall.Trick is, the cleat goes under the frame, not in the gap between the upper and lower edge of the frame.
