These are great tasting split peas

These peas are dry and did not plump up after three days of soaking.I made a second attempt and soaked some in water for two days and then microwaved them in a big bowl of water for 40 minutes and they still didn’t soften up enough to be edible. On the third attempt, I soaked them and boiled them for hours and they were still hard and not edible.I definitely would not buy again. I wasted many hours of my time for nothing.

I gave a 1 star because we received them . My wife was using them for pea soup. She soaked them in water over night and put them on stove simmering for hours. They never got fully soft and tasted chaulky. Awful. Whole batch of pea soup thrown out couldn’t eat.

Theses are fine peas, however split peas cook much faster and appear to be the same cost.
