Very sharp
Great little bread knife. Shorter than most bread knives. Sharper than a whole lot more.

Perfect replacement
Exactly matches our set. Tried sharpening our bread knife and ruined it. This replacement matches our set perfectly.

Great knife at a decent price
This knife feels sturdy, and fits the hand well. It is VERY sharp, and great for cutting bread with hard crusts.

Well Designed, Lightweight, NonSlip Attractive Handle
Fabulous tool, non-slip handle, easy to use. We've done without this matching tool for years and been making do with another brand reducing the counter-top esthetic as well as the quality of this surprisingly light-weight knife. This matched the remaining knives we had so we now have a full set. And, a big deal was that the block we already had includes a slot for a cook's scissors (and the scissors) and it seems as though most of the blocks out there now don't do this which seems a shame as that's the tool used as frequently as any (not only for the food but also for those pesky plastic packages always needing to be ripped open).

Polished sides - great knife
I lost my previous bread knife - a much less expensive and lower quality knife. I like this knife more. I suppose there isn't much difference in the sharpness, but there is something really cool about this knife. The side of the knife doesn't seem to attract bread "goo". The Zwilling knife remains much cleaner! My previous knife would attract bread loaf on the sides and it needed to be cleaned after almost every use. The Zwilling knife is polished nicely and doesn't need to be cleaned after every use.

Great blade, but not worth the price
I needed a bread knife to add to my collection of the Four Star II line, which has been discontinued. The discontinued line had substantial, well balanced handles the FELT good to use. I figured this would be similar but this handle feels like hollow plastic. I’m keeping it since it’s just a bread knife and was on sale for half price, but the full $115 for a knife like this is a joke.
