We started growing carrots and spring onions this year & invested quite a lot in pots. Then came the time to thin them out - that’s when I found these. We bought the 5 gallon ones and what a great economical solution they were. Saved us from disposing of seedlings and the plants took to them very well. They also fit nicely out of the way against the wall. They only thing I’d like to see is packs of the same colour as you get green, brown and black in the pack. I would definitely buy them again.

The media could not be loaded. I needed a planter for my eucalyptus tree and its companion lavender and thyme. This grow bag is the right size (width and height) for my needs. I also wanted to childproof a bothersome slab corner, as my young children love to run carelessly in the garden. Therefore, I opted for a grow bag. A couple of weeks later I can say it has done all of these. There is, however, a slight issue. I choose to buy the grow bags in brown as I was hoping that they will be more aesthetically pleasing than the black ones. Unfortunately, when the grow bag is wet, particularly after rain, it starts to look very messy. This, however, does not reduce its functionality, I just wish I had the option to consider it prior to purchasing this colour. Small conciliation on that front could be that you would know, that your compost is dry and you could consider watering again.The opening on the bottom of the grow bag is of no use to me but it seems to be allowing access or view of the roots. Overall, it is a functional option for your gardening needs, with handy straps on both sides for easy moving around, whenever required.

I thought they were a bit bigger , the front flap will be handy to remove the potatoes I suppose , I will have to wai and see ….

Very sturdy and large bags, a lot taller than I imagined. This allowed to gradually fill with soil during potatoes growth. Currently have spring onion, potatoes and carrots in the sacks. Will definitely purchase more for next year
