These are great little lights. I'm not using them for an underwater application, but as they have an o-ring and screw together snugly I can see that they would work well in that application. The lights are nicely bright, and it's easy to switch colors. The orange (think Halloween) wasn't a true orange, but it was close enough. So many choices in colors means you should be able to find something that will work for you. It also has a flashing and a strobe feature. If you are using several together, one remote will work for all of them, but as I was giving a couple as part of a gift, it was nice to have a remote for each. 3 triple A batteries for each (not included) and they seems to last and stay bright for quite a long run time.

I bought these lights to use as part of a photo backdrop. We used a blue background with white curtain lights and then created 3 clouds. The lights were used inside each of the clouds to add a little something special to them. We had tons of complements on the clouds and the light within them. I loved that we could change the color of the lights and turn them on/off with one of the 4 remotes included. The only thing they don't do that would have been awesome if they were capable of flashing/fading 1 specific color. The way the are set up is fading (goes through all colors) flashing does the same and then strobe which is closest to what I wanted with 1 single color flashing but it's just whitell and not changeable. Overall these are great lights and I'm sure they will be used in many projects

I used mine in a costume prop and they worked great. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the white light is very blue - the yellow was also a bit blue and seems a bit green. There didn't seem to be any colors I would describe as being orange.Batteries - The batteries in my remotes were fine. I used rechargeable batteries for the lights themselves. They lasted about 2-3 hours while on the color changing setting. Red uses the least amount of power and lasted about 5 hours. Using non-rechargeable batteries will make them last longer, but these lights would not make a good long term solution for lighting needs.I don't think the seal is actually waterproof, so they're not most definitely not submersible.Being able to control them remotely is very cool. It is also the only way to control them.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm so excited about these! I've already found several uses. To start, my husband and I are big Harry Potter fans and I just set of a display on one of our bookshelves of our books and a Hogwarts crest that was given to us. I wanted to find a fun way to highlight that shelf so I thought I might try out a light behind the crest. These worked perfectly. I put one behind it where you can't even tell it's there and can have it light up any color or put it on a rotation. It definitely adds the something extra I was hoping for. I also thought these would be great for when we use the pool in the evenings. A fun way to add some ambiance. I bet I'll find a bunch of innovative uses.Once I opened the package the instructions were right there. They were easy to open, required 3 AAA batteries each, then turned right on by the remote with no trouble. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone.

Ordered 20 of these. (5 X 4 packs) Every single one worked perfectly. One remote required opening and closing of the battery compartment to get it to work properly, but no big deal. There is a rubber seal around each light. There is literally no way that water could get in if you screw the back on properly and tighten it up. Note, there is no easy way to way to mount these if you are trying to put them on a wall. We're trying Velcro tape. There are zip-lock bags included. I used the zip lock bag to make kits - one light, one remote, 2 adhesive velcro squares, and three AAA batteries. (Also note - The remote battery is included, simply pull out the plastic tab. The AAA batteries are not included - You will need 12 AAA batteries)

Used it in a pool. Once submerged, even on the shallow end, controller won’t work. Lights are weak to say the least. Didn’t spend much, did t get much

We were happy with the product at first. Very bright lights that functioned well with the remote. Then we made it to the fourth one of the package....as the batteries went in, the lights came on dimly and would not turn off with any remote. After just a minute of two I pulled the batteries out and was surprised that they were extremely hot.If I hadn't dropped them quickly, I'm sure my finger would have blistered.

Unusable! They drain the batteries within about an hour. Bought a bunch of these and I can’t use them so they sit in a box. A lot of money spent for nothing.
