Comfortable, long, lasting nose pads that actually prevent glasses from slipping
These nose pads are a fantastic. They’re comfortable, non-irritating and they keep my glasses from slipping down my nose. The adhesive lasts for 1 to 2 months. A pack lasts for quite a while, making them an excellent value.

Keep your glasses from slipping (and falling and you can’t get up)
Work quite well. The pads stay on my glasses anywhere from 2-4 weeks before they lose stickiness. The slight amount of padding helps keep my frames riding high on my nose. They’re a little tricky to apply without using my glasses…

Good grip; but turns yellow and slips away after a month
It has good grip for a few weeks (the first week may even grip too tight that rubs rather tough against my skin); into 4th week, it starts to turn yellow and eventually slips away when I wash my eye-glasses. To be fair, I sweat alot during my workout; otherwise, it works pretty well. Just the discoloring is a real issue and hopefully it can be fixed.

They work well but don't last long
I've been using these for a bit over a month and since they last 2 weeks at most, I feel I can accurately describe the life cycle now that I'm on my 3rd installation. First, my glasses situation. I recently switched to big black framed glasses after years of wearing small rectangular wire frames with rubber nose pads. On top of that change, I had lots of adjustment issues and the college kid at my ophthalmologist's office messed with the frames so much that the arms have zero clamp on my head. Thus, they skate down my nose the second my head moves. My search for relief lead me to these Setex pads in black. Here's the installation process I've been following: Wipe the frame's nose area with a bit of isopropyl alcohol and let it dry. Then grab a pad with tweezers and ever so carefully place it where you think it should be. Hopefully you get it in the right spot so you don't have to peel it off again. Then do your best to place the other one in roughly the same place on the other side. With some patience, the pads won't be at odd angles or different heights. Now the glasses stick to your face, just as promised. It feels a little weird, like they're suctioned to your face at first, but no more slipping and it's great. A note before I continue with the review: the move to these larger frames gave me a whole world of eye pain that my ophthalmologist blamed on the thickness of the lenses, the size increase, and that my eyes were just used to my old glasses. I went back 4 times for adjustments and finally found a guy who realized they'd measured my head wrong and the center was in the wrong spot. The lenses were replaced but it barely helped; they insisted this was normal and I just had to wear them and get used to the change. Eventually my old glasses broke and I had no option but to wear these so I powered through a couple days of bad headaches and finally they felt normal. At least, until these pads ever so slightly raised the location of the glasses on my face, and brought the headaches back. That's not the pad's fault, but it's something I didn't really think about when purchasing. It was only a short period of discomfort and my eyes once again adjusted and things were fine. Again, not the pad's fault but on the chance this problem really is normal, it's something you might want to keep in mind. Back to these pads, after about a week, you notice they're slipping a bit. Not bad, but if you tilt your head down, they start sliding ever so slightly. A quick wipe of the pad with your finger reveals they've been acting like oil sponges and are feeling a bit slick. Not smooth plastic slick, but slick enough to slide a bit. I should note I don't have an oily face, I'd say my skin is normal and thanks to winter and the pandemic, I haven't left my house or exerted myself so I can't blame sweat or abnormally oily conditions. A few wipes with a finger or maybe a shirt and you'll be back to mostly normal, for now. Jump forward another week and one day your glasses will feel weird on your face and you'll see the adhesive has given up and now the pads are sliding around. Congratulations, you've reached the 2 week maximum life of the pads and now you have to start over with a new set. I'm disappointed in the 2 week life span. I'm on my 3rd set today after a month of use and there's 3 sets left in the container so you get a maximum of 2.5 months out of a purchase. I worry that summer time and some outdoor movement will cut this lifetime in half and at that point, they won't be worth the money. I'll probably go back to the metal frames with rubber pads later this year since this isn't worth the hassle. In conclusion, I'm happy with them now, not sure how I'll feel in warmer months but the 2 week annoyance is better than daily sliding glasses. TLDR: Put them on carefully, in 1 week they'll get slick with oil, in 2 weeks the adhesive gives up and you get to start over. Still better than slippery glasses.

UPDATE… I put these on 11-10 removed 12-19
UPDATE: I just changed these on 12-19, I replaced with smaller ones .6mm They worked great!! I do like the smaller ones better. I attached a pic of the ones I removed. A little yellow but they worked great, didn’t slide and very comfortable. So far these are working!! I put 1 on too high and was able to peel off and restick!! Comfortable, not sticky on my nose. I will buy again but I will get thinner pads. I didn’t pay attention to mm. I was busy reading reviews!! Got the 1 mm. Easy to put on. Not to big for my glasses. See pic for how they fit on my glasses.

Great for heavy glasses
These are incredibly helpful to have. I ordered a gorgeous pair of glasses that look great on me, but they refuse to stay up on their own. That’s where these come in, they help keep a heavy pair of glasses on my face. The only downside of these nose pads is that when you use them, they turn an awful shade of grey and the sticky adhesive starts to ball up until the nose pads are either too unsightly to tolerate or they stop sticking, forcing you to replace them. (The good meds is it is not noticeable while wearing them) I think mine have lasted about 2 weeks before I’ve needed to change them. For sure be on the safe side and only plan for a week of use out of them, anything over can be counted as a bonus. Also, they need to be put on in the right direction or they cause pain. The curved side of the nose pad needs to go with the curve of the glasses.
