Pro’s: Small and somewhat compact Says Made in GermanyCon’s:Viewer is small … so not ideal for reading text in a book - more for looking at a coin or reading print on medication.Handle does not fold - prefer a larger viewer with a folding handle.Says Made in Germany … but seems of low quality - everything from the lens to the cheap plastic feel.I do not mind paying more for quality … but this is not a quality product.

My wife's vision is deteriorating rapidly. While doctors are working to address this problem, I ordered Optelec for her. Originally, the world opened up for her since it allowed her to read again, even fine print. Sadly, the vision problem has not improved and Optelec is no longer much help, but we're thankful for the improvement it provided. If treatments are successful it will remain a helpful tool. It is a great product, works exactly as advertised and we recommend it.

I have a dozen magnifiers, but this is my favorite. Magnification is large for such a small and comfortable unit, and the light is very bright. I've stopped using my others.

I have had this product for a few days and love it. The first shipped magnifier did not work. I contacted Ctech and they called me back. When I sent the unit back, they looked at it and called me back. Just received the second shipment (same one). It works fine now. The product is awesome and very worth it. Even better is the great service from Ctech. They are extremely helpful and friendly. I have low vision and plan to use this company for anything I need. You cannot find any group better!!!!!

Bought this for my Mom. She is 95 and has Macular Degeneration. Great size to handle. The Magnification along with the light enables her to read.
