I have purchased this lazy susan for working on my bonsai plants. For all those who are looking for a turntable for similar applications, I would like to leave behind the following review:1. The product is surprisingly slim and can be placed just about anywhere.2. Build quality is TERRIFIC and the plastic feels nice and strong.3. I have used it with moderate (1.5 KG) load as well as with heavy (6 to 8 KG) loads and it handles both ends of the spectrum beautifully.4. I needed a turntable that does not "run away" i.e. offers a discernible resistance to turning (very essential when wiring and/or cutting) and this turntable it PURRFECT!!5. At the same time, movement, when you want/need it, is smooth.6.The bottom has tiny pips (I think rubberised) for better grip on the surface it is placed upon while the top surface is patterned sufficiently to hold the pot firmly in place.I have not (yet) separated the two surfaces to inspect the quality of ball bearings for the simple reason that there is no need to do so. However, should rotation be affected (in the future) I am reasonably sure that some light oiling will resolve the issue.Overall, I AM REALLY KICKED ABOUT THIS PRODUCT AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANY BONSAI ENTHUSIAST LOOKING FOR A TURNTABLE THAT IS HANDY FOR INDOOR WORK AND AT THE SAME TIME ROBUST.

The LapWorks 10" Heavy Duty Swivel was a disappointment given first impressions. The swivel was difficult to turn and a tad noisy. This was straight from the box without any weight applied. But, I wanted to give the item a fair shake--that weekend I was working on my Hitachi stereo system. The shelf stereo can be weighty moving it around to various angles while sitting. Retrieving the LapWorks 10" Heavy Duty Swivel I set the stereo unit on it. It worked very well and didn't have that annoying sound as previously mentioned. I'd say the Hitachi weights approximately 15 to 20 pounds without placing it on a scale.After reading the box though, I noticed the online description varied by fifty pounds. The box says 100 pounds and online on amaon.com it says 150 pounds. That is a significant difference and the reason I opted from this seller over another seller that was a few dollars less in price.To be just, I didn't purchase LapWorks 10" Heavy Duty Swivel with any intent of placing an item of 150 pounds on it. It's just nice to know I could at some point if I elected to. I'm not quibbling about the price merely the discrepancy in the weight capacity the swivel can hold.I understand third-party sellers need to make some profit or it's not worth their time. Since the items I was comparing appear to generate from same manufacture. I'm curious to it's actual weight capacity in general.I'm 95% satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it for light item use. I don't believe I would place more than fifty pounds of weight on it. I bought this turn table for a large planter. Now the plant is easy to rotate to get the sun it needs to be happy.

I purchased this item as it stated it was good for a TV. I think mine is 40ish inches. Unfortunately, the turntable wobbles side to side slightly making it very unstable for the TV. It certainly turned, but I didn't want to take a chance and have my TV smash all over the floor. Not worth it to me. I'll have to find another use for it but this didn't work out as intended. Seems like a decent turntable, but that's about it.
