Q: Is there any way to add this, and most importantly record to the homebase?

You can add it to the eufy security home page so all your cameras are in one place but annoyingly you can’t add to Homebase. It’s SD card or iCloud. They could improve it by allowing you to do this and would be better if it was battery operated like their other cameras and not mains powered.

Q: My camera just arrived and does not appear to have a microSD card slot. Is it hidden?

If you turn off the camera it will point the lens all the way up revealing the slot (on the black ball part). Alternatively, you should be able to point the lens all the way up as well to expose the slot.

Q: I live on a dutch barge with no fixed telephone landline / broadband. does this camera work with wifi provided by a 4g mobile hemehub

As long as the mobile hub creates a 2.4Ghz network then it'll work just the same as any other WiFi.
