Nice reading.
Enjoyable read. Had saw most of it before though honestly.

It's ok...
I've read a number of beginners witchcraft books and found this rather like all of the others, which is no criticism really, if this content is consistent in reflecting what modern western witchcraft (MWW) is.The book provides an eclectic mix of ideas commonly found and selected from multiple cultures. I personally find this lack of cultural context frustrating, though it isn't unique. I noticed several historical inaccuracies, which is almost expected when making uncontextualised references to multiple cultures. The gendered classifications and recommendations that each binary gender invoke deities of their own gender was very bothersome - though again not unique in this books.Overall, for a book on MWW it was pretty standard and will give you a good idea of how to begin. It's well written and presented. Just not my cup of tea and that's fine.

Craft of the Wise
Vikki Bramshaw has written a book which contains everything someone new to witchcraft needs to know. She gives a good overview of the history of the Craft and people involved in it. She teaches you circle casting as well as covering the Goddess and God, and astrology among other subjects. If you are new to witchcraft get yourself a couple of this book because you will learn everything you need to know from it.Highly recommended.

Perfect for beginners
I would recommend this to anyone who is new to Wicca, as it explains all of the basic information needed for a witch seeking to work alone or as part of a coven.
