Bone-Chilling Horror 10-Movie Collection

This set ranks in top 3 of horror movies collections along with my Blumhouse 10-pack & another I have of movies not in the same franchise being put together as a collection. If I were ranking same franchise only collections; then I would have to rank A Nightmare On Elm Street franchise, The Conjuring Universe, the Halloween franchise, Scream franchise, Insidious franchise, the Evil Dead franchise, Resident Evil franchise, Underworld franchise, Happy Death Day franchise,& the Final Destination franchise are possibly the 10 best. Unless you consider Jurassic Park as a horror franchise, then one of the others would have to take a hike.

A lot of movie compilations tend to have one or two good movies out of five or ten. This movie package was just right and at a purchase price of only fourteen dollars, the buyer is certainly getting a good deal. Who wouldn't want to watch the original 1980 Friday the 13th over and over again? The Ring is a deliciously scary movie that keeps a viewer guessing. What Lies Beneath stars Harrison Ford in a rare thriller/horror movie alongside Michelle Pfeiffer. The Ruins was a pleasant surprise, as I had never seen it before. Stephan Kings Graveyard Shift might not been one of his best, but it wasn't one of his worst either. It's entertaining for a good watch every once in awhile. Paranormal Activity was a movie that I think was parodied by the Wayans brothers, so I was again pleasant lly surprised to watch the original that they were making fun of. The Haunting was so/so. Lots of big names at that time, but the characters in the movie all had insomnia, yet they tended to all wake up looking fresh faced, so it wasn't believable. I turned that one off in the middle. The Uninvited was predictable and the other two movies had horrible reviews, so I skipped those altogether. But, over all, this set had great movies with excellent DVD packaging care. Bought for my brother as a gift. He is a horror movie buff.

I love the old horror flicks. This was great during the cold weather with a mug of hot chocolate (with a lid of course for those scary parts).
