This little device is perfect for us
My mother has Alzheimer's and even though we have caregivers, there are times she's alone She keeps trying to go to her car and go to her mother, she has no car and hasn't driven in years. This little device is perfect for us. Looks like a key fob. She'll never use the "SOS" feature but it has many features that I didn't expect that are very good, such as fall sensor and listening "spy" feature. My mother has been verbally abused and I wish I could be a fly on the wall and if I suspect poor treatment, I will be. Once setup, I was at first apprehensive, I war surprised how easy and accurate it was. I use T-Mobile and with frustration, discovered I had the wrong Sims card. I needed one that could text, I think when getting the Sims card, ask for an "SMS" card. Another issue I thought I had was that it uses Android App and I have an Apple 6 but it turns out that it runs fine off any browser. The best reason to get it was the superb and fast support via email. Not phone support but email and the tech support, Owen, got back to me, usually within a half hour. Their based in Australia so I think they re about 10 hours ahead of me, probably if I emailed early in the day, wait time would be longer. The emails I got for help besides coming back fast were thorough and carefully thought out. Nearly the best support I've had. I would have preferred phone support because I don't like email support, I expected a few days turnaround but that never happened. For situations like mine, I made the best choice of devices. Maybe, the only problem I may have is battery running time. I think with power saver on, I should get 3 or more days of service. My mother would never charge it, charging may be a problem, I haven't used it long enough to see how long the battery will last

Lost Mom Found!
Purchased this GPS Tracker to track my elderly mother who has dementia and had gotten lost on one occasion for over seven hours. Very scary so I needed some way to find her on my own, quickly if it every happened again. What I like most about the tracker is being able set up zones, being able to pinpoint where she is when she is out on her own. I especially like the SOS button where there is two way communication, and the "spy" mode, nice so I can listen for her behavior when in stores shopping alone. Overall, this tracker has ALL the features I wanted in a tracker, including on-line tracking which is not exactly what I thought it would be, but still useful. I'm definitely glad I purchased it.The only thing I don't like is how you set it up, takes a little bit of time to figure it out, but once you do everything works just advertised. There's no one to call if you have an immediate question or need help (pdf/videos provided). They say you can simply send them an email and they will respond within 48 hours. However, I had an issue with setting up the online tracking, sent them an email and it went totally ignored. Several days later I sent another email, they responded that "no reply should have been necessary" that they "create the accounts before the devices are sold on Amazon". "However there was a typo in your account password, so you wouldn't have been able to log-in". I think it was not only a let down customer service wise, but just plain rude not respond at all, since they have no phone support and customers are relying solely on email communication with them. I was not only frustrated waiting to hear from them, but disappointed because I purchased this to track an elderly parent with dementia and every day of delay in responding, in my mind, compromised her safety.Do I recommend that you buy this product, ABSOLUTELY, my Mother got lost a second time and I was able to locate her quickly using the tracker, drove right up to her. But, I also hope VisionOneGPS reads this review and decides to respond to EVERY customer with a question, whether or not the information can be found in a pdf or a video and they should change the product information that reads “Just send us your IMEI number and we will create your account and set-up the minimum information needed to view live-tracking of your Personal GPS Tracker. Just send your IMEI to [email protected] and we’ll send you your account information within 48hrs.” and instead say we've already set up your account, if you can't access it please notify us... and then respond. VisionOne don't forget this is the only method your customers have to reach you, don't drop the ball after the sell of the tracker. Hence the four stars! (the device itself is a 5-star product).

Has every feature I hoped to find and more
This device has everything I was looking for in a very lightweight and easy to use package. I am very happy and satisfied with this purchase and it has given our family peace of mind at a very reasonable cost. Also allows the wearer to feel more secure knowing they have an easy way to call for help if needed. Two way communication, tracking with mobile device or computer, fall detection, emergency call button that dials three different numbers until one answers, issue alerts if device is detected outside programmed perimeter, and works inside as well as outside buildings. Cannot say enough good things about this device. Well done VisionOne!

I got it right the 5th and final time
I had a real overseas requirement for this during the olympics. I got it right the 5th and final time. This product is the only one that I bought and did not returned or chucked it. I recommend this productIt has two buttons to program 2 or more phone numbers. The SOS button can call multiple numbers if the primary does not answer. the other button will call only one number

This product works GREAT!! I had set-up issues when I first received it, but VisionOne's technical department assisted me. and they helped me find that the issue was with my mobile carrier. The VisionOneGPS Personal Tracker is used by my ageing parents. Now all of us have piece of mind. THANKS VisionOne and their technical Dept.

SMS works, but the tracking website simply doesn't.
SMS works, but the tracking website simply doesn't. The device doesn't come with a username/password for the website, and even if it did, I couldn't get the GPRS (data plan) to work on this tracker. In other words, I have a GPS that I can send text messages to (and get a reply with the current location), but the actual "tracker" functionality simply doesn't work. (I even added an extra line to my t-mobile family plan, which includes unlimited text, voice and 10GB of data, so I know the issues are not because my phone plan doesn't support data... It must be the device that is not working.)

Very nice, Battery wont last as it says, however I hightly recommend it.I wish the vendor spend more time on explaining how to use it in youtube.com
