Make sure to buy a usa to uk adapter
Haven't tried it yet but seen good reviews of the steamer.Update: Worked for two seconds then stopped and now is not turning back on, it's now unplugged and has not been used for 30 minutes, however, is still hot to touch and not cooling down. Not quite sure what's going on but will be returning or getting a replacement.

Not suitable for uk
This item is not compatible with UK 240v power. I wish they had made this clearer in the item description.
