I really wanted to like these filters. I have purchased both the OEM (Mercedes-Benz) filters and third-party filters in the past. These were clearly inferior to the others that I have purchased. The plastic frame of the filters seems to be of a lower quality and/or reduced thickness compared to the others. One of the filter’s plastic frame cracked on installation, in spite of using gentle pressure and careful positioning to insert it in place. The foam edge material also seem to be of an inferior quality compared to the others I have previously obtained. I had no ability to compare the actual filter material with those I have previously purchased, but given the apparent lower quality of the filter frames themselves, I am not optimistic that they will be as good as the others. In spite of the cracked frame of one of the filters, I was able to get them both in place and, after completing the installation, and turning on the air conditioning, they seem to be functioning acceptably after a couple of days of observation.

My 2000 E430 had original filters (yuck)…. These fit perfectly. They have labeled arrows. Angled filter goes in the right slot , square filter goes in left slot. Arrows should be facing left. Tabs facing down for removal. Made in China which always makes me skeptical as to the actual quality of the charcoal element but it sure seems correct so I have no complaints. Good product smells clean

These are great filters and they arrived very quickly. I wish there were a little more instructions on which directions the filters needed to be installed, with the airflow arrow direction for my 2003 s430 Mercedes, but it wasn't. I did find a pretty decent YouTube video on installing them, but it only focused on one filter and the airflow arrow direction. Further was a little snug during installation on the left side vent box. But overall it smell great and it did fit. Love the product.
