Dorman 918-806 Engine Rocker Arm Oil Control Solenoid Compatible with Select Chevrolet Models

Great quality, looks just like OEM part. Good value and much cheaper than OEM. This fixed the engine code for the rocker oil solenoid error.

This part is great.

No regrets. No more check engine light.

My engine light was on, got it tested at the auto parts store and it said to try to replace the camshaft position solenoid timing actuator. Came with and exhaust and intake valve. I replace those and the light was still on. I then purchased this part and thanks to some you tube videos was able to replace it and the light finally went off. Part was in good shape and was exactly what I needed. It was a little tricky to get to and you may have to unhook some other things to do it, but well worth the effort and savings of taking it to a shop.

2015 Chevy Malibu would rev limit itself when I floored it (almost like a safety mode) and it technically was a safe mode. Anyways did a quick google search and YouTube video. Replaced this part within 30 minutes and changed the oil as it recommends doing bc this is a oil timer. Your oil is probably fouled so it suggests changing it as well. But as soon as I had it installed and oil changed I let it sit for 10 minutes running. Letting the new oil cycle and reset the code and took it for a drive and I can now beat a train across the tracks. My 4 cylinder will outrun any hellcat. #ChevyGaps

So far so good. I don't drive this car every day. I installed it a few weeks ago. The new bolts that came with it seem to be of less quality, but I used them because they have new seals on them. I cleared the trouble codes on my car and so far they haven't came back on.
