What is the best size of hole to drill into a wooden bookmark to fit tassle through?

I would think you could use a 1/8" bit. The blank bookmarks I use are a heavy card stock and the holes are about that or about 4mil. These tassels and some others I've bought tend to unravel after a while. I now use a drop of PVA glue on the part where the cord is wrapped around the tassel just above where the single strands that form the bottom of the tassel are. The glue dries clear so it's not seen. You only need a little bit of glue and I smooth it out with a wooden toothpick. I hope this helps.

Not sure what you mean as you did not buy any tassels from myself but I am sure that if you shop around on Amazon or other sites you can buy tassels of which ever colour you require.. Hope this helps.
