twitter is good in performance.mid range and vocals are very low. some instruments are not audible. if you increase the volume twitter get its peek but mid driver wont get its job. if you would add subwoofer to this speakers then mids may be vanish.not up to the mark. over priced.i would suggest these for 6-8k only.

Need to match existing compact speaker setup to add ATMOS height channels. Work well.

Great side and/or rear surround speakers in a system with a good front sound stage and a good sub-woofer.I use these in two different home theater systems (as rears in 7.1, and as sides in 5.1).While using the test tone from my AV amp, I also use a sound pressure level meter during setup and to get balanced sound. I tend to run these at from +2db to +4db level over the others to get good balance (i.e., the same as sound pressure level) with my other speakers and to really here the surround effects well during movies. I like to really hear surround sound and like it set to a higher level than some other folks. Most people tell me they enjoy my settings. Point is these speakers are good quality with massive magnets and they can handle their rated 125 watts. So jack up their level as much as you need to set up a balanced sound output from them and they don't disappoint. I like them and feel they do an amazing job for their size! (They don't handle a lot of bass, but as surrounds in a system with good front sound stage and sub-woofer they don't need to.)

UPDATE: I've since moved into a bigger space, and convinced the wife to allow me slightly larger speakers (Pioneer A. Jones BS22) for our home theater, so these babies got packed away. Just messing around the garage, I pulled them out, along with a Lepai 2020 amp. After hooking them up, I was reminded why they were such a great value. Very clean, even while running through this cheap amplifier, and filling the space with just past half-volume. Yep, I still love them.Replacing a Yamaha system: Yamaha NS-SP1800BL 5.1-Channel Home Theater Speaker System, with these. Sound is crisper, more open. These are heavy speakers, comparable to the shape and size of much more expensive Klipsch speakers. If you only want to spend a little at a time, rather than plunking down a big chunk of dough for a full set of Polks, give these little guys a try. I also have the center, BIC AMERICA DV-32CLR 31/2" 2-Way Center Channel Speaker, and I'm buying two more of these for surrounds. They do impress.
