If you plan to store gasoline or diesel fuel, always use the correct type and amount of Stabil. Rotate your stock every 6-9 months. Never store either fuel for a year or more. Store in a cool place.

I consider this a very good product. It does what it says it will do.

It's hard to tell how well this stuff works. My bus starts when I wanted to even if the diesel is pretty old, so I guess it's doing its job.

We have been using Sta-Bil For Diesel Fuel for a few years now on our stored fuel. Seems pretty high priced, which I don't like, but at 1 ounce per 5g can makes it fairly reasonable. I like the convenient quart size. Note there is a limit on time once the container is opened. Any larger container size, I would have a hard time using it up in a reasonable amount of time. I use it for storing about 70 gallons of diesel in 5g NATO steel fuel cans. I can not say for certain that it makes a difference but it is good piece of mind as I store our back up ranch fuel sometimes as long as two years.

Good stuff

I have a Diesel Truck and a Diesel Car, I wasn't using any type of fuel stabilizer before and I definitely wish that I had. I can tell the difference when I put it in or if I forget to. There's a slight performance increase when I use this and I actually do get better fuel mileage. On my truck I get about 2-3 more MPGs and on my car it can be anywhere from 4-6 MPGs. For the price and with how many fillups it gets it pays for itself. On top of that it cleans the fuel so that it's better overall for the health of the vehicle. Will be purchasing more when I run out.
