The stock extruder gear wears out pretty quick, but these steel ones are fantastic, I have yet to wear out the first one. A bit hard to take off the stock one by hand, but if you have a vice it is fairly easy. Just seat the motor vertically in the vice, resting the weight of the motor on the stock gear between the jaws of the vice. Then, tap on the motor shaft with a screw driver and hammer to gradually slide the shaft out of the gear, be prepared to catch the motor safely. Once off, these gears do not need to be press fit, and can be tightened with the installed grub screws. For added security you can cut a slot in the shaft of the motor for the screw to bind to. Tldr: All in all a much cheaper solution than buying a whole new stepper motor.

The extruder wheel mysteriously got very loose on my Ender 3 Pro. It was so loose that it actually fell off while I was troubleshooting the issue. Turns out that one of the tiny set screws holding it on had backed itself out and was swallowed up by the universe, never to be seen again.As I have several printers and these pieces do wear out over time, I thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I did. Not only is the printer working as good as ever, now I have quite a few spares for whatever comes next.Recommended.

After only a few days of non-stop printing, the teeth on the brass gear that came installed on my Creality CR10 v2 printers each started wearing down to where it was no longer able to provide consistent feeding/extruding of filament.So, I ended up trying these stainless steel extruder gears. While this gear only has 36 teeth compared to the 40 teeth on the stock CR10 gear, there was no problems feeding filament to my prints. The diameter, after all, is the same (so the pitch is slightly different given the 36T vs 40T difference).This stainless steel gear is definitely outlasting the brass gear that came with the CR10 v2. How much longer will it last than the stock CR10 gear? The teeth do appear to show signs of wear now but has outlasted the CR10 gear in the number of days it's gone without wearing down. So I approximate the teeth on this lasts around 2-3x longer than the CR10 (non scientific answer).

I bought these to upgrade the extruder gear on several Ender 3 printers. Tehy worked great and are plugging away. Much better than the stock gear.

Nachdem mein Ender 3 V2 eineinhalb Jahre in Betrieb war, sah das Extruderzahnrad doch schon etwas mitgenommen aus. Dieser Satz mit neuen war der perfekte Ersatz, es ist keinerlei Unterschied zum Original festzustellen.Ein Hinweis zur Montage vielleicht noch: der Innensechskantschlüssel für die Madenschraube muss immer EXAKT im rechten Winkel angesetzt werden, im Zweifel lieber noch etwas demontieren. Ansonsten ist die Schraube ziemlich sicher hinüber (nicht so schlimm, wenn man noch welche hat).

En remplacement d'une roue cranté de l'extrudeur de la Ender 3 v2.Fait parfaitement le job pour un petit prix.Il y en a assez dans la boite pour durer un moment.
