Snorgly soft
Do NOT take the colour name literally when buying brown; by the window but not direct light, no flash, this is clearly more of a rust. Caramels are between the light yellow-brown of butterscotch and the more midbrown-orange of toffee, and this is almost brick. This is good news for others who don't want a lot of brown, but do look very closely at the pictured hue and imagine it 20% deeper in hue. This is the only negative, and is a subjective one. Other reviewers have cast some doubt on this being a pure cashmere, citing some synthetic content. I am sensitive/intolerant to synthetic fibres, and felt only goaty goodness in my 6 skeins. A blend also creates unevenness in the dyeing, usually lighter patches on a synthetic or even cotton where it doesn't absorb the dye as well. Check out that beautiful even hue. Yarns with halo (that fuzziness) need to be worked looser, as it naturally fills the gaps over time. I'm on 3.5mm, which is the top of the recommended range and a size up from my patterns suggestion. A machine knitted garment compresses the stitches, which traps the halo and means that the most basic of beginners will make their knit more beautiful.

Great quality
Soft and smooth, very comfortable for sensitive skin. On the first photo the crochet is 3mm. I used triple thread to make the beret on the second photo.

So soft. It perfect for a pair of gloves
Lovely soft wool. A joy to crochet with. Doesn't snag on the hook and isn't itchy like some other fluffy looking wools. Is light yet warm

Anyone has spare Khaki bought in Nov 2020 please?
Any one bought 100% Cashmere in Khaki before December 2020, if you have unwanted yarn, could I please have it please? I’m based in the UK. I can pay you for this. Reason being that I can not finish this scarf without more correct colour yarn. I bought 6 of them in Nov however the scarf I am knitting is too wide so need to buy more; however, because the previous stock ran out, and the new ones came in after a long wait with very different colour (even though the seller claims it is in Khaki from different batch)!HELP!!! 💔 I gave 4 stars because the product itself is good, the yarn I bought first time are very soft and fine, completely from 2nd time batch (which even got strong chemical smell might from dying process) plus the customer service is proactive and prompt. Please send a msg to the seller if you do have spare yarn in the same colour and bought in November 2020; and so they can pass it over to me. Let’s hope miracles happen soon...

Don’t buy it!
When this yarn first arrived I was so happy with how it looked and felt so soft. Last weekend I started to work with it and was hugely disappointed! It’s not supple and snapped twice very quickly. Sadly, have had to abandon my project…

I am dissapointed as I found a knot and the yarn cost a lot for 50gr
I was after yarn like this and was so happy to find it. However it had a knot in the skein. I am really disappointed as 50 gr cost a lot. I managed to use it to repair the swetter but for that price having a knot is unacceptable and very cheecky!

This cashmere yarn is Light Fingering...3-ply. There's a photo in the description qualifying it as Sport-weight yarn. Definitely not. It's between Lace (2-ply) and Fingering (4-ply). Good for scarves, cowls, hats, etc. If you used it double, it'd probably be good for sweaters. I'm going to start a cowl and see how it knits. I did a burn test on a small strand of the yarn. It burns (and smells) like hair, and not nylon or acrylic, which is good. The price is not quite a bargain, although it's a decent price. Yardage is 273 yds (250m) for Light Fingering, at $16/50g. I have found similar Cashmere for $12/50g on Etsy. All that said, the yarn is nicely plied...not too tight...and is beautifully soft. I bought a heathered color, which is very pretty. I read that the best grade Cashmere is not dyed, so this is not the top grade. But it doesn't seem to "haze" when rubbed...another sign of decent Cashmere. Can't wait to start a cowl and will update how it goes.

loved the yarn, its soft warm and light. my first time knitting anything, i used 4.5mm needles to knit a shoulder warmer scarf for my son. I also bought the yarn in olive, but didn’t like the color much so returned it. Hihly highly recommend this yarn. So disappointed they are not selling it anymore... hoping they will restock and sell...
