Lit Freud D0530FM 5-3/8" by 30t Diablo Steel Demon Ferrous Cutting Saw Blade with 20mm arbor

I haven’t had any of the problems mentioned in some of these reviews. This blade is holding up better than the stock Bosch blade that came in my Bosch 18v metal cutting saw and that blade was great. This will work with most 18v metal cutting saws but the important thing is that the saw have a 20mm arbor which is pretty standard for metal cutting circular saws. I like the way the teeth are ground sharp on this Diablo blade after they’re brazed on. Many of these metal cutting blades made by other brands have the carbide tips simply attached but not fully sharpened. My blades last longest if I always cut with a guide clamped to the work piece or by holding a framing square to the piece as a guide. The main thing I find that helps my blades last is being careful to keep the saw against the guide during cuts. I find that by watching the edge of the base plate to be sure I’m keeping it against the cutting guide during cuts rather than watching the cutting edge of the blade, that I’m able to get better results. Another thing that helps the blade last longer is using a cutting wax on the blade frequently and not feeding too fast or too slow during cuts. I cut many different thicknesses and shapes of mild steel so I don’t have a good way to describe how long these blades last but I’m happy with them and continue to use them. Freud is a Bosch company and specializes in blades. The Diablo line is a great line of economic professional quality cutting bits and blades made by Freud. I hope this review is helpful.

Great product and essential to have on a skill saw in the field. Price is a little high but convenience is great. Does wear quickly.

These blades cut ss good as any, and last 2-4 times longer than any other brands I have used.

Thought it should last longer under normal use..but overall a decent product

After a little rocky start, all issues resolved over and above the call of duty. We do lots of cutting of EMT conduit and this blade seems to be going the distance. Thanks
