Plastic (not glass)
I was under the impression that the soap dish was glass (that was my original search in Amazon). It is not--it is clear plastic--so I returned it. The dish looked like the pictures, though, so I give it 4 stars. If you want glass--look elsewhere. If you don't mind plastic, it is a good buy.

Cracked already.
Only after 6 months, base started to show cracks and cracks just got bigger and bigger.We never dropped it.
