ALPHA CAMP Camp Chair with Shade, Folding Camping Chair, Canopy Chair, Support 160kg, Cobalt Dark Blue

Brought this for my partner as she gets heat exhaustion etc very easily it arrived today so got the mrs straight outside to try it out and it works a treat

I love this chair, and the rest of my family want one now 😊 It is very comfortable, protects me from the sun (very important for me) and has a cup holder. What more could I want?Well, I could live with it being lighter - it is a bit on the heavy side for a portable chair.The colour was a shock when i first got it out of the box, because it was more pink than red - and I’m not a pink person. However, once it’s up, it looks fine.

We've had all kinds of folding camp chairs over the years but never anything as "solid" as these. Obviously the main selling point here is the canopy and you might be thinking "is it really worth the best part of £60?" but when they arrive you realise that these things are built like a tank. They look like they could endure years of use and could support some pretty heavy folks (just as well in our case!). Of course the solid construction does have one down-side and that is that they are pretty heavy. If you are just looking for something to carry out to your Covid isolating garden it's probably not a problem but if you were hiking across fields to set up at an airshow or outdoor concert or something that additional weight might be an issue. But you would have a large, comfortable chain, built to last, when you got there !

The canopy is just genius. It folds out of the way easily with a very good strong metal hinge and then folds back up and locks into place to secure so it won’t move. The canvas fabric is heavy duty - not thin and cheap - the arm rests are a good width to actually really lead on and the cup holders/tins etc all fit well. The actually metal base ‘ chair legs are very strong. My husbands 18st and it easily took his weight flopping down haha. Folding is easy just pull back the Capone and the whol thing concertina so into a small package and back in the bag. Over all a lot better quality than I hoped for and I absolutely will be buying another one because I expected a chair that might last say one holiday season but this is reallllllllly nice quality and I’m hoping to get a set now. Highly recommended, love it.

The chair is comfortable, easy to set up, but it is heavy, definitely won't take it out of the house.

Worth every penny. Bought it for my sister and she loves it. Only concern it's quite heavy but totally understand due to the structure. If you are looking for a chair that's sturdy and brings comfort I would gladly recommend.

Everyone using it up to now loves it and one is already looking at getting one for themselves. At £50 it is a considered purchase, but with it being so sturdy, easily opened and closed and with the retractable canopy so easy to use too, it was a great buy for us.For those, like me, who want to sit in the garden but not in full sun and on a sturdy seat, not the low lying ones that I used to use before the aches and pains of age crept up on me, this does the trick. A footstool bought separately adds to the overall comfort factor too.

Great chair. This chair was purchased for an open air music festival. It protected me from the sun on a very hot day. The bright red colour easy to pick out in the crowds. It is heavier than other chairs but worth the effort.
