Good product

My paint (same brand) arrived before my primer did. I was impatient and painted one wood area without the primer. The next day the primer arrived and I painted the second area with the primer and then the paint. I can definitely say there's better results with the primer first. (I sanded the first area, primed and repainted the first area, too.) When I finished primer and paint, I followed up with their clear coat and my window panes have never looked better.

Easy to use and lets the wood grain still show threw!

This was so thin it was difficult to spread. I did put two coats. It was a very slick surface so far it does appear to work with two coats of primer and two coats of paint.

I used this on my Ikea nightstand which has a laminate surface. It worked well enough for the chalk paint to stick. It’s a little runny so I had to make sure I wasn’t using too much. I used 2 layers of primer and let it dry an hour in between.

The product is wonderful

Product was milky white and cayenne but did dry to a clear finish which was what I needed for my project. I was putting a clear coat of Apoxsee over granite countertop to protect the surface and had to remove one of the Apoxsee coding‘s on the counter due to some poor adhesion. The other two calendars seem to do OK so it may just of been my lack of preparation on that one particular counter. Overall it was much better than another clear bonding primer that was recommended by the Apoxsee company because that one did not turn clear and left a translucent white coding which didn’t allow for the granite to shine through. Customer Service was very helpful I called a couple of times with questions. Granite is hard to get a bonding primer to stick to and the fact that my countertops have been sealed in the not too distant past they have made the prep before I painted more difficult because I didn’t want to mark the surface of the granite by using a lower too low upgrade of sand paper Which would leave scratches across the surface. I let the paint dry and then sanded lightly with 220 sandpaper wipe the dust and then wiped down with alcohol. It seemed the alcohol was rolling up some of the paint so I stopped that and just used water. I didn’t let the primer dry for a full 24 hours and that may have been part of the problem. User error.Time will tell :-)

Excellent product with no odour easy to use. Does exactly what it says it will do

But this product with caution. I give this a one star review because when I finally came to use it there was a large silicone-like patty of settled product at the bottom of the jar. No matter how hard I tried I could not mix it in. I bought a new one from a local vendor(which I didn’t know about before I bought on Amazon), and it works great and only had the smallest amount of settling. I could not return the product so I reached out to the manufacturer, who is I l’y 30 minutes away from me. They were unwilling to compensate, or exchange the product. So buy this product with caution.
