We had a 1st time mom that was overflowing her puppies to the point that 2 ended up with pneumonia due to milk aspiration. We tried several other ways but nothing worked well enough. When this 1st arrived it didn't work either. the suction was to faint to work. After putting it aside for a couple of days I finally looked at it and realized it had the hole at the end of the line. I cut that off and it worked perfectly after that. It saved our puppies and now both are perfectly healthy 5 week old puppies eating soft puppy food and drinking weakened goats milk (they are being weaned from the goat milk to water). I went back over the ad and realized that it states the hole was there but I missed that. My bad not theirs. Just recommend cutting it off prior to use because it really reduces the suctioning ability of the tube.

we bought this to add to our whelping kit for our first litter. the suction catheter is soft, plyable and super easy to slip down the puppy’s mouth to deep suction. this worked amazing for a puppy that was stuck in the canal for a few minutes! he came out gasping and we were able to feed the catheter down & with a small amount of suction on the other end, suction the fluids from deep down. this is a life saver and we will be buying one before every litter! not to mention, it’s super cheap, easy to use and can save puppies lives!

I bought two just to have on hand and I used both as I had two still born puppies. One still born had a slight heart beat, so I used this to suction a lot of mucus out then the GV26 acupuncture point and he started to gasp. I ran him to my vet a couple blocks away for oxygen and he's alive. So now I'll be buying some little oxygen chamber cause I'm sure it's the same price as my vet bill. Stock up and buy multiple. Buy more of everything that you think you need. Better to be prepared in the moment.

I luckily purchased 2 of these, but it was too late. I opened one in a emergency, positioned it to use and nothing would work. It ended up just pushing even more fluid down as I tried to get it to work. Finally frustrated I opened the second one I had ordered and it worked once away once placed but by then it was too late. The puppy was gone. :( 1st puppy I have ever lost.. I took a closer look at the 1st one, took it all apart to see if I could identify the problem.. one of the tubes are completely sealed, no water will even drip through.. it is a complete failure.

Literally. Buy this. I used it when whelping puppies and it’s a god sent. It’s nice and small for their little noses and throat. I was so intimated to use it initially but I practiced with some water first and it’s very easy to use
