I like it and the cat likes it!
The cat was okay with it very quickly, even though in the photo she does not look like she's happy (after 30 minutes she was actually looking smug like, "I'm pretty cool looking with this thing!"), she is definitely okay with it. She rolled around a few times and walked slowly at first, but seemed okay with it well within 10 or 15 minutes. I've put it on her a few times since, just to see if it was a fluke. I praised her a lot and gave her treats - if she will eat treats, she is okay with what is going on. Some complain about their cats slipping out, but I believe it is either sized wrong or left too loose. Like a horse saddle, it has to be tight - not just down on the fur/hair - but must be loose enough so as not to restrict breathing or circulation. Make sure you make the fit tight enough so they cannot slip out and test it a lot indoors before going outside. (Definitely not like a dog that takes about 30 seconds to leash train! I have had dogs slip out of their collars that were too loose too, but at least you can usually get them back quickly. Cats are much more resistant to leashes and harnesses and can be impossible to get back.) It is A BIT CONFUSING on ordering because the sizes are "XS" and "S" and our brains think, "EXTRA SMALL" and "SMALL" but once I really measured the cat found my full grown cat was an "XS" size but would think maybe a KITTEN would be XS so my tendency would be to buy... "S"... maybe… if I did not measure her? When I first looked at these, I guessed at my cat's size and ASSUMED she was a S[mall] and could no way be and XS[mall]. I do not believe the S and XS mean SMALL and EXTRA SMALL even though XS is smaller than S. It would be better if the size was a different designation, forcing you to measure your cat so you purchase the correct size. I purchased a cloth tape at a hobby store and measured her with that. I bought the harness for emergencies (so I do not know how they would work / holdup with daily use) - my cat is an "indoor cat" but when she freaks out (like when the lawn mower is running around in the yard) she can be difficult to console or get calmed down; she will not take treats in moments like that. I reason in an actual emergency where I have to leave the house (fire, flood, tornado, etc.) it would be impossible to control her and she would potentially be lost forever. I have a travel "condo" with litter box for the back seat (Amazon) which is also for emergencies and the harness will be required to have any hope of safely getting her from the house to the car “travel condo” and to get her out without getting away at a new destination – just have to make sure you have good control of the leash. I put the harness on her once in a while to make sure she's still okay with it and she slips her head right in now, like it is a game. She patiently waits for me to snap in the two clips, too... with lots of praise and followed with treats. Very quickly delivered and a good price. Hope this helps.

Just bought it, size is a bit big but...
We gave this product a try the first day it came for our 10 week old kitten, she is too tiny for it but when she becomes a month old we will try putting it on her again to see if it is a better fit, for now, we place it bu her bed and she tries to put it on after the fact that she refused to wear it the first time and plus she slipped out of the small size so we plan on keeping it and waiting until she can grow into it before trying again. We put her harness next to her bed so that she can get used to it. We pray that she will understand what the harness is for as we wish to socialize our kitten with other people and take her places without leaving her behind. Four stars for now. : )Update 1:Oreo is going on 15 weeks old and she still cannot fit the small harness so I bought her the smaller size today and hopes that when it arrives tonight, she will fit in it. She may not like it because the one she currently wears from PetSmart is what she likes the most but the harness is a bit loose and I fear that she will escape out of it so I am willing to give the next size a shot before giving up and moving to another product that is more secure. I will post another update soon.Update 2: I was able to put the harness on Oreo without her giving me problems like she did with the first one . The extra small fits perfectly even though it is still a bit loose because she is still a bit small for it but it didn't slip off. We plan on taking her to the park with it on to see how she does in it.Update 3: Oreo is has gotten used to wearing her harness! She is playing with her toys and is now 3 months old! She doesn't mind walking with it on and she doesn't give me a hard time when she accidentally slips her right paw out of it. It is working great so far! : )

XS too small for kitten 7 months old
I was surprised when the size X small barely fit over my kitten's head with straps loosened. I had gotten a small for my other bigger older cat which I ended up using for the kitten which is pictured in the photo. She has a long body but skinny and the S is almost too big tightened as far as it can go but I'll think she will grow into it and it does stay on her. I will need a medium for my 7 year old who is about 11-12 lb. The kitten is about 7 lb. I am using it to train her to be on the high balcony so she learns she can't jump down. I'm about 100 feet up. I do hope to walk them eventually even though it's a little unorthodox, they beg me to go outside so I want to give them fresh air. :) I think only a tiny kitten would fit X-small size. Even a small dog I would size up to medium unless they are a very young pup or toy size dog. Hope this helps!

Adjusting is a pain!
It is not easy to fit this to your cat. There are four different straps to adjust, 2 at the neck, and 2 for the abdomen. While I understand tighter sliding means better security, I found it cumbersome. Then when all done, there were all these extra lengths of strapping hanging around. The metal ring for attaching the leash is a smart change. The fuzzy binding fabric gets festooned with hair and is difficult to clean. My cat puts it on and wears it with no problem. He hasn’t made any complaints - via squirming or attacking it - and jumps and runs fine. He did manage to contort a leg out of the harness and I have no idea how. I readjusted the straps and so far, no more escaped limbs. We had the kitten Rabitgoo harness and used it from ~10weeks to 8 1/2 months. I would have been quite happy with a larger version of that.

Wish there was an enclosure on the neck portion
I like this harness and my cat did not appear to be in any great discomfort while wearing it as it bends easily with his movements. I just wish there was an enclosure on the neck portion like there is to enclose it around the belly. An enclosure/buckle on the neck would allow me to put it off and take it on more easily and quickly and cause my cat much less discomfort and stress during the process of putting it on and taking it off. I only gave it 4 stars because it lacks an enclosure on the neck portion.

Best cat harness ever!
This is best harness ever. I’ve been looking for a good harness for so many years and never managed to find aa good as this is. It’s absolutely escape proof which was the most important for me. It’s ’s adjustable and super soft from inside. I got two XS size harness for our two cats and it does fit perfectly.I usually don’t bother to write review especially so long, but I’m absolutely impressed with the quality of these harness and also I was a bit concerned when ordering as I saw a review that says XS is absolutely small for their kitten which I can not believe as our two cats are 3 and 6 years old (not fat, either skinny) and this harness are just made for them. Make sure before placing your order to measure your cat.

Great!
This is the third harness I have tried with my kitten, the first being difficult to put over her head, the second went over her legs and done up over her back but she could get out of that easily. This one is easier to put over her head because the neck hole can be made bigger, and it easy to clip over her chest and then adjust. Domino is a house cat so training her on a harness and lead gives her the chance to go outside safely, but we are still getting used to the harness and haven’t been out in it yet. This harness is very well made with good quality materials and stitching, seems sturdy, and looks good. Overall I am very impressed with it.

!00% funcional

Neck section slips over the head -- and can easily slip off.
First the good stuff:Bought an XS for my 3.75kg 10 year old. I measured her according to the chart and she fell within the ranges specified for the XS, and on getting the harness, it did feel secure and a lot more comfortable on her neck than the H style harness we'd been using before. I love the colour, the reflective piping, and the lightness of the material. It's soft and squishy with plenty of ventilation, but at the same time feels very durable and built to last. The clips are a decent size so they're easy to get to and clip on and off and feel like they're well made. I got the green colour and it's a lovely turquoise aqua colour -- quite true to the picture on the site. The ring on the back is sturdy metal and feels very secure. I'm using this harness with the extendable lead that I already have and there were no issues with clipping it on and that stress point felt very secure. However:The neck section doesn't have a clip and so you have to slip the cat's head through it which has, um, several downsides. My cat, who has been harness trained all her life, was absolutely furious about this. I was able to coax her down from hissing and clawing through a very treat-heavy introductory period, but still -- if you have a cat who tolerates this on the first go, god bless, but I can't imagine that's going to be in any way the majority. And because of the slip-on design, the neck section is loose enough that it can easily be slipped off. I know my cat is on the very small side, but we've already had an incident where I was tugging at her lead to get her back to me when someone entered the park with a leashless dog and the harness slipped off against her resistance which under the circumstances was frankly terrifying! Luckily she was kind of perplexed and didn't think of running so I was able to scoop her up, but it was definitely a scary moment!I had a look at the harness after and I could see that although I had originally tightened the body straps nearly fully to fit her small frame, over the five or so times we'd used it, they'd slipped a bit and loosened which I'm sure was part of why it was able to slip off. I think that the adjustable parts of the side-release buckles could use a textured edge or teeth at some part to grab onto the straps so they can only move when intentionally moved.I've since bought 20mm curved side-release buckles with the intention of trying to put one on the neck section and I might try and adjust the straps myself to make them a closer fit to my mini-cat, but I think having a slide-on neck section and non-grip buckles are weak points in an otherwise fantastic product that is definitely comfortable, secure, and well-made otherwise!Edit 24/4/22 - Reworked the neck section to attach one 20mm side release buckle positioned so the flap from the chest section cushions the buckle (picture attached - please don't judge the ugly sewing job...I was more concerned with security rather than aesthetics!). This is *so* much easier and more pleasant to put my cat into now! She had been used to an H style harness so she was used to a clip on the neck section, and tolerates it so much better than shoving her head through! Not to mention, adjusting the straps was absolutely impossible after the hassle of the slip-through neck. With this mod I can pre-adjust the straps to size!Rabbitgoo - please consider an update to this great harness with a neck clip! It would make this an absolutely perfect product!

Disastro!!!!!!!
