My 11 year old loves this plane. It takes a little practice to fly in beginner mode - so a fun but not discouraging challenge. It's hard to fly in intermediate mode which is what he's now using 5 months in. We still have expert mode to move on to. It's pretty sturdy: has been stuck in a tree once and has had some big crashes into the ground but aside from losing the wheels and breaking one propeller is working perfectly. It's fast so able to fly outside in a reasonable breeze. 100% recommended.

It's broken in the first timeWaste of money

My 7yo bought this with his birthday money. I tried everything to stop him thinking he’d crash it in his first go. Well, after a little bit of coaching he’s a super ace! The gyro stability is excellent and gives him so much control. He’s now on intermediate and doing great. The plane weighs about the same as a bag of crisps and bounces any crash.I could not recommend this more, when the kids have the plastic tacky toys they can get hold of, this is the antidote.

The product itself is good and fun. Just wildly overpriced through Amazon.

first charge off battery and it’s inflated scared it will burn house down

this plane is great for beginners super maneuverable and stable i crashed it a few time quite hard but it help up just fine and after four tries i flew it with ease and since this is only my third plane i was very impressed. It does fly rather quick so i lowered the throttle a bit and made a few adjustmnets to the elevator and she flies beautifully i highly recommend for either beginners or pros

After a few hiccups, where the technical support team was absolutely brilliant and very supportive, I was able to put the plane flying.Never flew one of these before but In beginner mode, it was easy to put it in the air and make a few "8s" in the sky, even some barrel rolls with the "acrobatic" button feature. "crashed" it a couple of times but no damage to the plane, the propeller pops out, just put it back in and keep going. Would recommend the product to anyone curious. The Airplane is really beautiful to see in the air and it is a lot of fun.My personal recommendations for anyone starting:- watch some videos on how to launch the plane by hand (similar to a paper plane)- flying over grass, with no obstacles and low winds is strongly advisable- be careful to not let the airplane get too far away- practicing on simulators help to get used to most common issues like pull to go up, throttle control, turning when the plane is facing the pilot, etc. some of these are not very intuitive and could take some practice to get used to
