what are the three sizes?

The smallest have a diameter of 6 mm and a length of 5 mm. The medium ones have a diameter of 7 mm and a length of 8 mm. The largest ones have a diameter of 7 mm and a length of 12 mm. These 3 sizes come in 4 different colors: gold, silver, gunmetal, and a bronze color. Hope this helps!

Do they come undone easily?

you know what to be honest with you. After I repaired my daughters sandal strap, it has not came undone. The second factory strap actually is the one that came apart. The two different straps I have repaired have not came undone. I was glad I had the kit and liked that u have different sizes and so easy to use. I actually can give it 5stars

Brass or nickel free copper? Description says both? What one it it?

There is both in the box. I don't know why they stated it that way, I'm sure they are just coated metal like all studs and snaps.

what is the minimum thickness of leather that the small rivet will grip?

Not sure about thickness. I use them on thin leather. There are different sizes in this package. I use the smallest rivet.
