When my babies were babies twenty years ago, I bought Gerber cloth diapers for them. They loved them. It was easy to find them with cute patterns and designs on them. They loved holding on to them and I always had one under their face no matter where they were laying of if being held. I had a grand-baby a few months ago. I spent 5 months before he was born looking for cute, cloth burp diapers.... without any luck. I decided to search online and found these. I ordered two different colors. I washed them seperately by color so they wouldn't bleed onto other items in the wash later. They came out SO soft and just as bright as they they went into the washer. Since that first wash, I have ordered them in all the other boy colors. I've had no problem with bleeding after washing them alone (by color) the first time. (I can't imagine anyone washing something that has been dyed, with anything else for the first wash.) I have washed them with white baby towels, socks, onesies...with no bleeding. They are thinner than the store bought white cloth Gerber diapers but I find that this is good for him because they are softer and easier for him to hold on to. I just got back online to order some for a shower gift because these are the BEST! I've had no problem with hard corners or the thread used for stitching. If I were a baby, I would want these!

I really like these burp cloths and I get a lot of compliments on them, which is funny because they are simply pre-fold diapers that have been dyed. I have the teal and the green for my little guy and I got these red ones as a gift for a friend who was admiring mine. They are not "show quality" diapers by any means, but they are easy to find, absorbent, and thick enough not to leak through. The stitching/hemming gets a little ratty with multiple washes, but they are my go to burp cloths.My complaint and my warning is that they bleed color for many washes (at least the red, green, and blue ones do). I have put in a white onesie with them once, and you can see some discoloration of the onesie as a result. Now, I only wash these with dark or like colors and use a color catcher in the wash with them (on cold). They don't seem to be fading all that much, however, which is good.I would recommend these and would definitely buy them again.

Very absorbent, if one side is soaked it will still be dry on the other. And my baby has acid reflux and is a serious "spitter upper".
