Leather Dog Muzzle (Small)

Superb muzzle. My Rottie/GSD mix is having a hard time understanding what he can and can not chew on. This muzzle has fixed that problem. When first fitting him I needed a couple extra holes for the chin strap, easily fixed with a leather punch. Once that was done he could not slip it off. The chin strap is also removable, so if you wanted to use it with a collar you could. First go round I only had him wear it for 10 minutes and allowed outside play time with his sister. Once playing he didn’t seem to mind it. This muzzle is a bit heavy as the leather is very thick. There is a felt pad on the bridge of the nose for extra comfort. Very well made and no way your dog will chew through this. The only thing I would improve on is ventilation, due to the leather being so thick I can see it being very hot. Be sure to properly measure your pup before purchase! Bonus, your dog kind of looks like Bane with it on! Lol

This is exactly what we need. We have a husky that does not respond well to our older chihuahua claiming the royal title. Huskies need to pant, basically constantly unless they are in snow. Other muzzles were torture because they would clamp her mouth shut. But THIS muzzle is fantastic. It is very thick leather. Great craftsmanship. Well padded where the top of the snout sits. And she can open her mouth freely without the chance of being able to nip. It is slightly annoying to adjust and fit at first because the leather is very thick, but after a few days it is manageable. I have no doubt that we will be able to use this muzzle for the rest of her life.

Its kinda good quality and im in love with the way it looks and fits on my male german shepherd. I got it in size large and it fits perfectly. True size!The dog can not take it off with his paws!

We have a few dogs who like to eat and bring undesirable items from the yard inside our house. Other muzzles (especially the mesh type) could be pushed aside by the dogs to render it useless. While this is a heavier leather that they may not like in warmer weather; it is totally secure and makes it impossible for them to continue their behaviors. One dog tried relentlessly to scoop up stuff in the snow, which only served to block many of the holes, and she learned it was futile to get it off. The leather is softening a bit to make it easier to buckle on, and we all love it (except the offending dogs). The seller's price was better than others offering a similar muzzle.The first size I got was slightly too large, and the seller could not have been more helpful- he answered each of my inquiries super fast, although his time zone was different from mine. I bought the smaller one and he credited the return very fast. I appreciate both the seller's responsiveness and service, and the great quality muzzle, and would certainly buy products from them in the future.

This muzzle fit the dog comfortably and stayed in place despite the dog's attempts to remove it. When working with the dog, her attempts to bite were not only thwarted, but the leather of the muzzle did not bruise my skin when it hit me in her attempts to bite me. After working with this dog for 3 weeks, she has begun wagging her tail when I praise her and before and after the owner put the muzzle on, she has sniffed my hand through the fence without attacking the fence or threatening me as she did before. I am very pleased with this muzzle and would highly recommend it.

Not enough ventilation for working dogs it got really hard after few wash

Czech German Shepherd 100 lb K9 size XL, this is heavy duty... and heavy, but no bite risk. They can pant but not full open mouth. Has felt to make sure it doesn’t rub on dogs muzzle. Sturdy won’t slip or move. Upgraded from a plastic one. Can bark but like stated isn’t going to get a full open mouth. I would recommend this if your worried about a muzzle shifting or a plastic muzzle isn’t enough. The leather is thick and high quality. Priced very well.
