Joie Burger Press and Patty Maker, LFGB Approved and BPA Free, One Size, Red

It was cheap so I thought I would try it. Wonderful results! I used the unbleached parchment patty sheets from Amazon too.

First, I like the material this press is made from, BPA free. It’s handy at making burgers the same size & shape easily. I used parchment paper I folded and cut into circles to put between and froze. Once frozen, I bagged them up and used a FoodSaver machine to suck out air for ease in future use.

After researching burger presses/patty makers and getting 3 different ones (only to discard them, sadly), I have finally found what I was looking for with this one :) The problem with the ones I got before was that I could never get the patty out of the patty maker base, with or without paper circles. This one has a sliding panel inside, so I put a piece of paper in it, put 2 scoops of meat (using ice cream scoop, to make all patties uniform), then put another piece of paper on top of meat, and press. Patty's ready, I pull the sliding panel up from inside the patty maker, the patty slides right off and I put it on a sheet to go to the freezer. Everything goes really fast and there is very little cleanup after.
