Is this case for the g8x thinq or for the v60? because some reviews show the box says v60.

This is for the g8x thinq, which has a 6.4" screen. The V60 is larger, with a 6.8" screen.

Is this a case or is it the extra screen?

This is the case in that houses the extra screen on the back of the outside cover panel. If looking at the picture, the cut out area is the back of where your phone would sit in this case, like a book. So, that is where your camera would operate... in that window. So, on the opposite side would be your phone screen right, if you have the case open in front of you (it is like a book cover and your phone is the book that fits inside), that panel in this picture that if on the right hand side, it's an all glass panel that oddly only has like a limited time and notification display. When you flip it over, the extra screen is on the back side of that front glass panel on now the left side as if you've flipped it from the picture and are looking down at it. And your phone will sit in the right hand side, and the extra screen is on the left hand side and it is what the extra screen is. So, it is both a phone and the extra screen for the "dual screen" part of it being an extra screen. I hope that makes sense and clears this up. I've had this since it was brand new got it on a deal for free and the phone for free from ATT like a year and a half ago, and I throughly enjoy it. The case is a bit larger and cumbersome at times, but it also easily pops in and out of the case and your phone operates as your phone does. If you're interested in it, I do recommend it. Tons and tons of people ask about it everytime I have it out. It's really helpful with pics and stuff.
