My children are rough! The youngest is a thrower. If he needs help or he's annoyed... he'll throw his tablet. So far we've made it through a lot and his tablet is still intact. I've noticed this case gives the tablet more of a bounce when it falls or is thrown. So it's not such a hard impact. It doesn't have a screen protector of any kind. I do suggest still buying one. I need to. We've been lucky so far. Our made it's not luck and it's just a great case. I do love the strap idea. Being able to hook it in the car, awesome. It's got 3 handles and a strap. Easy for my toddler to hold if he gets a little Ms Rachel time while we're out doing errands or at appointments. The kick stand also seems very sturdy.

Y'all, I buy so much stuff on Amazon and review less than 1% of those purchases. I have had this Amazon tablet cover for probably a year or so, and yesterday while visiting a loved one in the hospital, my daughter dropped her tablet out of the wagon when we were walking back out to the car in the parking lot. As it goes in a hospital, people are very much in a hurry and not paying a lot of attention, and somebody drove over it completely. When I found it, as I walked back to the main entrance, there was a tire track literally over the back of it. It did not break in any way shape or form! The only damage, was superficial from the asphalt on the screen protector. The tablet was face down when it was run over. I am blown away and so, so happy that it did not break.

So I see so many fit problems for the tablet case… and I was so annoyed when I got it mine did not fit either.. so I set up the return for it… then I ordered another one that was slightly different and my tablet still didn’t fit… then I realized how silly I was…YOU HAVE TO TAKE OUT THE HARD BLACK PIECE BEFORE YOU CAN FIT YOUR TABLET IN! 😃 So needless to say they do fit the fire hd 8 perfectly! I hope I am not the only one you didn’t realize that at first! 😂

Perfect tablet for all my kids. It gives certain content to each age! Perfect size screen and able to hold it! They have thrown it and it hasn’t even cracked so great protective case with nice grip.

I am definitely one of those Mom’s that are not for little toddlers having electronics. However, I have really enjoyed how this gift to our daughter has helped tremendously with traveling. It has made car rides and plane rides such a breeze. Also, the fact that I can download educational games (that work without the internet) is very convenient.I like the size of this iPad was well. It’s not too small or too big. The only feature that I find annoying is the adds. I guess you can purchase one with out adds- I don’t like how romance and adult videos pop up with advertisements. So, I would tell anyone who has a young child using this iPad…to definitely purchase it without the adds. :)

With the light material this makes bringing it with us an ease for our child. It fits much better than the amazon brand case it was in and the stand for it is perfect since it won't "bend" the screen. Would highly recommend. The straps are perfect too for a nice setup in the car for road trips so they can watch a movie. It is very versatile.

My son throws this around with no issues. Pair with a screen protector and you’re good.

It is a great case. My daughter does chew on it but it still holds together really well. The stand isn't as strong as I hoped it would be but it still works great.
