Great tool!
I love Timex watches. They are cheap and durable, and I can easily find both replacement watchbands and batteries. With other watches the face gets so scratched up you can't read the display after about 8 mos to a year. I am hard on watches. Until I found this watch case press, there was only one jewelry store with one and it was all the way on the other side of town. Not to mention, they were only open 8a-5pm and charged about $15 to change out a battery. I don't like throwing away things that work. The press is easy to use, and seems sturdy. I can now order my batteries online (I found 4 for less than $5 with free shipping) and change them out as needed without breaking the crystal face on my watches. I even have few non-Timex watches I plan to replace the batteries in and bring back to my wardrobe!

Press works
The press worked just fine once I figured out how to use it. No instructions. So I went hunting for instructions. I found a few youtube vidoes of similar devices which explained their device from that I figured out how to use it. It put the back on my watch quickly. I have several other watches I intend to pop their backs off and put batteries in them. This should work just fine with the other watches.

Valuable little tool
This watch-case press is completely underwhelming upon 1st view, and really should come with better instructions, but when you consider that for the price of a single watch battery replacement, you're purchasing the ability to perform a replacement any time you need one, it's cheap at the price. I haven't tried it on the one square-cased watch I own, but it has worked a treat on a couple of my round-case watch backs so far.In short, I'm happy about my purchase.

Perfect Tool For The Job - Ultra-fast Delivery From Micro-Tools
My wife had a watch that needed a new battery, so I pried off the cover and put in a new battery - that was over a year ago. It sat in a zip-lock bag during this time because I was unable to snap the back cover on. Finally, earlier this week, I had a fit of clarity and searched for a tool to do this.Wandering onto the Amazon site, I found this tool and decided to take a chance. The package arrived the very next day - I had to do a double-take, because it seemed impossibly fast. After removing the tool, it took only 2 minutes to push the cover on. I highly recommend this tool purchased through Micro-Tools / Amazon.

So I'm not real happy about that
I'm with the other customers here.. Not enough dies as watches come bigger these days and even though I took my time trying to get the back to snap in, the crystal shattered from the pressure. It was an older watch but was still of interest in my collection. So I'm not real happy about that...

Broken watch face
I strongly recomend people NOT to buy this product I had a $100 watch that I could not close the back cover after I replaced the battery. I thought this tool will save me money and a trip to the jeweler store instead, the very first time I used it, it cause the crystal face of my watch to crack. It cost me $60 to repair it at a watch repair shop. if we considered that I paid $18 for this tool I could have just paid that to any watch repair shop to put the cover back on my watch. Very unsafe tool and useless

This watch case back opener is TRASH Trash Trash...DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!! Before getting it I couldnt see that the dies weren't cut for regular sized watches...even a moderately priced one never breaks the crystals..this is a rip off to those who don't know...get the one with the handle...the dies are honest and they work...this was a gift for a kid... wasted money!!! YOU'RE A FOOL IF YOU BUY THIS...YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!!

So, so
Can't say anything more than it is OK. Lots of parts in the kit, but I didn't find it very useful for compressing the back of the watch case after changing batteries.
