I bought this bike to convert it to an ebike... firstly let me say, it doesn't look like this picture. The top cross bar is the thick bar - it's huge, flamboyantly marked with the manufacturer logos and being so thick, it doesn't lend itself to having things like a water bottle strapped to it.Secondly, the gear arm thing keeps getting stuck in the spokes of the back wheel - considering this is the only part that comes assembled. I expected it to be assembled correctly and it wasn't.Thirdly, do not, for any reason, put the seat post bar In its holder without the seat firmly attached! I did and it fell in and got instantly and permanently stuck there! WD-40 is no match for that problem - had to order a new one and since the size of the original tube isn't listed ANYWHERE. I had to guess and i wont know if i was right til the new one comes in... even then I'm sure I'll have to cut the new pipe, if it does fit, in order to make it short enough for me since the old tube is down in the hole and not coming out.Over all I'm quite dissatisfied with the bike, but it's more hassle than it's worth to try to return it so I'm going to make it work - just be aware that if you're interested in converting to an ebike this might not be the bike you want. The space between the bars is too narrow for a large battery pack, the top bar is too thick for accessories and the gear assembly will need adjusted by someone who knows what they're doing(which I do not). Also the front fork design is such that torque arms dont fit right nor does the front disc brake when coupled with an ebike front hub motor.Update: the shimano derailleur was bent, apparently damaged in transit and the integrated brake/shifter won't work with ebike brakes, so have to replace the bulk of the gear assembly parts (except for the cassette).

I was looking for a low budget mountain bike and this product deliver on that but with disk brakes, great look and easy to assemble (if you are good with tools). The delivery arrived 1 week before the expected date (can't complain). The bike arrived in a big box with enough protection and the only thing broken was a peace designed to protect the bike during shipping ( success!).I still need to fine tune the disk break and go out on longer rides, but so far I really like this bike and it seems like it's going to last a long time.Note: there are 2 weird things that the instruction doesn't tell you where they go and I figured out that it goes at the end of handle.Something to improve: the instructions and the pictures don't help.

On its own this bike isn't all that good. I think the only original parts I left on this bike are the rims and the frame. And I'm currently eyeing some new wheels haha. But I will say that this frame so far has taken a beating and has stood up. It's an ok intro bike and you'll learn plenty of maintenance with it if that's important to you.

front wheel was bent where some one stepped on it. Alan wrench bolts to head set broke upon assembly. rear fender was smashed crooked in box.Oh, the derail-er and the handle bar leavers bind up (plastic) causing the 3 front gears usable (does not change gears)Front forks are so cheep, good luck trying to get the disk brakes to not drag and scrape.I was ashamed to give this bike as a gift. i would not buy for your children (safety).coming from some one who builds bike and used to race pro bmx, i dont know how it passed any tests, let alone how people get away with selling pretty crap.

The description said one thing and I got the opposite not so happy with my purchase

The handlebars were not what was pictured. The seat keeps moving up and down and side to side while riding even after tightening each time. The tires look cheaply made. I wish I never purchased it. Buy a bike in person NOT online!
